If you have money wasted on alt account and jump potions just to troll on a discussion forum only 5% of player base will use and only 1% actually read it daily..... why don't you consider donate some money to the charity?

IPs are dynamic. So that wouldn't work that well, at all I don't think. Though it could help with duplicate accounts. Just make it so their characters get shipped with the ban hammer instead too!!

I am a compulsive shipper, so we'd be here all day if I listed all my ships for XIV. But some highlights include:

Nero/WoL

Rhoswen/Carvellain
Martyn/Whastrach I totally don't have a thing for shipping characters who initially hate each other, stop looking at me like that
Ryne/Gaia going on cute dates with a side of nervous dads Thancred and Urianger spying on them to make sure they're okay.

You know who I would really like to ship for character development purposes? Lyse and G'raha Tia. They're roughly the same age and it would loosen Lyse up a little if she had someone as eccentric as G'raha Tia who also has experience in leading. :D

I'm religious so all my ships are straight.

I disagree.... G'raha would be a horrible example for Lyse. First of all Lyse wouldn't have anything to do with him since he's just a WOL fanboy anyway who wouldn't look at Lyse cause he's trying to jump in the WOL's pants. I'm all for Lyse and WoL tho.

Unpopular opinion: because I think that 'shipping' characters who don't ever show any actual interest in each other or fanfic rewrites of things are dumb. If something isn't canon, why should I waste time reading what someone else has dreamed up? Only the official story matters (to me)...anybody who deludes themselves into thinking that something exists between two characters, is usually deluding themselves in an attempt to distract themselves from reality...and while people are perfectly allowed to do what they want, imo they shouldn't bother others with their delusions. It's about as asinine to me as people asking what sexuality some character is when the subject or anything related to it never appears anywhere. Like the whole Bert & Ernie thing from Sesame Street...someone from the company having to come out and say "they're dolls. They don't exist below the waist. There are no sexual preferences anywhere with them" because people keep bringing it up is...quite frankly, embarrassing to see.

As far as in game really goes, I always liked the idea of Lyse and Hien getting together. Especially now that Lyse has been moved to city leader pile of characters, and is destined to only ever show up when the plot demands it, and then be cast back into the bin until, "leaders must unite and be consulted" comes up again.

They've fought side by side so much. Hien is wise with a dry wit and a great sense of humor. Lyse is affable and sincere. Maybe not perfect for each other, but it's a good fit in my eyes.

The Eden storyline got to me more than I thought it would... so I hope Gaia and Ryne get to be happy together.
