I love the challenge!..but I think this particular guy might be a bit too much for some folks.

His mechanics are literally all over the place! lol

I passed this becuase someone said to follow them, it was a great fight!

Only one I've seen fail so far. Its basically ex-trial levels of mechanics.

Out of all the parties I've been in, only one we actually got it and beat him.

... The first party though, it was a bloodbath and so many bodies.

My team just barely won over the Red Death; never again. xD

When this fate pops just put your head between your knees n kiss yer behind goodbye ;) seriously i haven't had a good laugh n awhile.

My favorite thing about Final Fantasy is how you can beat all kinds of gods and monsters, but there's still some cutesy mascot creature somewhere that will shatter your spine instantly regardless of level.

SE made us think the nightmare was over...... until now! They're not done torturing us with this. XD

That's the point were the real fun begins.

The chocobo fate itself is easy, people just don't understand to always stay between the 2 meteors. They are always one chocobo away from the middle.

Red Comet boss that destroys everybody? I only have one way to react to that.

Main problem was the combination of the charge (cross AoE) and the red Alexander puddles. That one is a wee bit awkward in design.

Looks like the hardcore gaming crowd has won and older gamers like me with lower reflexes have lost... this trend is highly unfortunate.

So when do yans come in the game

I don't do savage or even extremes nowadays but I gotta say, it's stuff like this that'll actually get me to participate in this content.
There's nothing that compares to the feeling of stepping into a fight like this and seeing a bunch of people just freakin decimated by whatever the hell it was that hit em.

Makes me go "wtfff was that???" but also makes me wanna go back in and find out lol.

You don't realize that your argumentation doesn't really make sense? For example, there are also old people who play Savage. How do you justify that? "They're not my age?" Savage and Red Comet are just things you have to practice.

It's like a hurricane of meteors. Haven't had a group wipe to it yet, guess I've been lucky. I didn't die the first time I did it, but I did die the second time I did it... twice. Ooof. I got juked!

I kind of wish there was a visual indicator for what the "painful death" radius on proximity AoEs is, because being even a yard too close to the ones in this encounter makes the difference between taking a measly 1Kish damage or 30K.

gonna be honest, if you're not looking to qualify for the duel, the only thing that's physical in that whole fight is the chocobo charges. Everything else is magic. Which means Lost Reflect is your friend. (standing in the alex puddles will still give a vuln stack and most likely disqualify you from the duel, although you still won't take damage - and bonus, your reflected damage will be boosted by that vuln)
