After you've stopped hitting a Striking Dummy you will still remain in combat. So you'll either have to run far away from the dummy or enter a building to get out of combat.
Would it not be quite neat if you could "/soothe" the Striking Dummy to get out of combat instead?
(For all Striking Dummies ofc, not just personal housing onces.)
