There is a player by the name Lilly Sunflower (Diabolos) on the Crystal Data Center giving out tells to people with the message "Square Enix Should Not Allow This Update At Such A Sensitive Time, Please Vote Against It On The FFXIV Forum Post Before They Ruin The Game: (fake link to forums)"

Please don't attempt to log in, it's a scam to get your log in info!!

Thankfully on PS4 links are not clickable

Don't blame the player in this case. They made the mistake you didn't and got their account compromised.

It's a chain scam that perpetuates itself by using its victims to spread it further.

That's the exact same phrase the fake Zepla streams use on twitch. I wonder if it's the same person

Haha! I've gotten that tell twice already. To think that people are trying to scam other people in a freaking MMORPG.

They're not clickable on PC either, they have to be specifically copied/pasted for them to work.

might wanna edit that and get rid of the name. forum rules says you cannot name and shame. not to mention, the person who owns the character isn't even doing it, like someone said, they got their account hacked bc they fell for the scam.

The only in game links that can be trusted are in the server message or come from Gamemasters. Note GM's will NEVER message you just for the purpose of giving you a link.

Clicking forum links in the chat won't do anything because they aren't hyperlinks.
