Why does the game name me Jalin in pvp areas?

This is really weird and it happens in the forums as well..... When I Jump into ANY pvp related area the feast/Frontlines/etc. my name gets changed to Jalin. Has anyone encounttreed this bug because it is really getting on my nerves when someone identifies me as Jalin when it really is not my name. Its actually hilarious how incompetent these developers are when it comes to pvp I mean seriously

I don't know about the PvP thing but Jalin seems to be the account name that was chosen by the creator (you) when the account got created.

I didnt name it though maybe it was the defualt name in the forums and that somehow translated to the pvp areas do you know how I can solve this

Damn it Jalin you were named after your great uncle twice removed. Twelve rest his soul. Just because he died smack down in the middle of Limsa half baked and drunk off his lalabutt, doesn't mean you must forsake your name. Own it! Be the best damn Jalin you can be!

It seems like it is something of a deeper problem of your keyboard or something, because in another thread you also had the name "Jalin" mentioned despite it being Yayake. Maybe check your keyboard macros if a friend just had some fun with the macro system.

Their keyboard... or possibly their mind. Have a look at their post history - "Jalin" is magically making its way into everything.

Please...don't spout that name as if deserves to be worn with pride or honor. It's a hideous name that has serisouly ruined my ffxiv experience(no joke)

So for me there is clearly written "Jalin" in your post where you mention the quest NPC instead of "Yayake".
This indicates that you either have a bigger problem then just a broken keyboard or a friend that is having fun or that you don't take this serious anyway and it's just trolling.

For me it is a case closed because there is either a troll or multiple users on this account, so anyway nothing i am able to help with.
