Defter Fingers emote: SE, please release it on the Mog for NA

It's a Korea exclusive right now and I'm a bit annoyed I can't get it right now. Please release it in NA and not like next year, as the Idol outfits you promised last year still aren't available here.

No thank you, those korean/chinese exclusives usually cost twice as much for us. I'm not buying an emote for $20.

This should not even be considered an 'exclusive' and why it wasn't released across all stores at the same time is completely beyond me. This is a HIGHLY desired emote, along with the sassy wave which... please make this?

Also, Amnmaat, you shouldn't worry about it. You don't have to buy a single solitary thing from the Mog Station ever. At all. So you really shouldn't care about them releasing this one, either, regardless of the price. :3

I would gladly pay the premium for it, it's emote I want for one of my alts *badly*

Anyway, iirc these isn't made by SE but the Korean dev team.

I don't buy that a movement used in the game already, by Emet-Selch, was 'created' by the Korean dev team as an emote.

You can find the actual animation online and it's not the same gesture as Emet Selch's snap. It looks like something that would fit in more with a Hildibrand sequence. Nice animation, but not something I could see myself getting if it came over here.

A better way to ask for this is for free ingame.
Sure it won't happen but don't just outright ask them to take our money.

Anything from Korean/Chinese creation will not be free; but I would rather this not coming on NA mogstation so I wont see those ranting thread that show periodically by people that do not understand the word "vanity"

Eh, I prefer that *every* emote be available across every version of Mogstation if it's going to be on mogstation. I think it's bull that any country has exclusives.

Well, these two regions are run by publishers and they are using these "exclusive items" to attract players.
Also, players in these two regions are pay by minutes they play instead of monthly subscrition
I highly doubt you will want to do that

My primary issue with this particular emote being an exclusive is they *know* that players worldwide are gonna want it. It isn't like the idol outfits that are popular in Korea/China due to the culture there. It kinda strikes me as crap that *this particular* emote is an exclusive with the appeal it'd have to every region of the game.

My issue and the reason I mentioned the idol outfits is they had said they were going to release them worldwide "in the near future" and it's a year later and they still haven't.

True but some of the stuff on the Mogstation is better that some things in-game, that temptation is real....

I don't think this is Emet-Selch's "snap" primarily because...

1. The Mainland Asian clients have different publishers, and as previously states they are incentivized to make their own stuff from scratch.
2. Ergo I don't think SE is willing to let them sell such an iconic gesture outside the main Client that serves, Japan, North America and most of Europe unless it was already in game (like the Legacy chocobo).
3. On top of that, the animation seems to be different, lacking the wave. Further lending credence to points 1 and 2.

On other notes.

1. Regardless of whether or not it is Emet-Selch's, the emote was established to be in the main client
2. Also I feel i must reiterate, that asking to pay through the nose should be seen as a last resort if the goal is to see things in the game at all. This doesn't apply to the emote as it was made from scratch and likley for the mogstore, but it does apply to one that would actually be Emet's snap as well as future items in general (like say, DNC/GNB Primal weapons, hats that work on Viera/Hrothgar etc.).

Suggestion; they should add Emet's finger snap as an in game event reward, preferably as a gemstone/shared fate reward. Without the comical/anime sparkle found in the korean version of the emote.

Better suggestion: have a sidequest for it like the laliho emote. Like, attach it to one of the sidequests in Amarout itself.

You guys must be joking thinking that a snap like the one KR got (hand up high, snapping) isn't looking extremely similiar to Emet-selch. While yes it is not straight up named "Emet-selch snap!" it is as close as it can get.
Honestly, looking at a few story cutscenes where he's snapping and then comparing it to the emote...not exactly the same but close.
So in my opinion, bring it over. People seeing that will want the emote for that emotional factor alone, idk how anyone could question that.

With maxed shared fate in every zone secret beast tribe items appears for the three beast tribes (when the tribe is maxed rank), one costs like ~5+ tokens. Draws you into a burning circle (could use phasing concept here) and spawns a corrupted B rank, who often have adds/backup, which is a bit harder to kill/aggressive (any token can be used in neutral areas but token to that tribe must be used in areas that have a beast tribe), this can only be done at certain locations, once killed offers a fair amount of end game tomestones, seals like they would normally (if your weekly B rank), and sometimes random drops that can be used in crafting and such (some pre-existing, some new resources). Perhaps some new items or ingredients that make things like a cursed map (rare, used as an optional consumed augment when interacting with the chest) which has harder monsters but an assured portal, or a horn and ear trumpet, which generates a sound that comes back different based on how long an A or S rank is about to spawn (vague info shown in a dialog box).

Anyway, back onto the point lol- some of the drops the corrupted b ranks would be non-trade-able shade crystals, which can be traded for gem stones (nice alternate way for those who hate fates.. especially after having to cap them all lol, but still have to do open world content) and upgrade progression investment into the gemstone shopkeeper (either or not both at the same time), who will then offer even more rare wares (child size ascian robes for normal size race, newborn robes for lalafell lol). Besides the obvious maybe some fun items like unsynced echo potion, allows you to bestow echo on yourself from the beginning of the content so long as echo was allowed in the first place. Will max your echo. An advanced version will go higher than the usual cap but cost more gems. After you kill every corrupted B rank (which you can choose based on the shrine you go to, and can be tracked with the hunt log), and you have max progressed the shop with shade crystals, you'll unlock Emet's snap for purchase.

I mean you brought up "forced", even the person you originally quoted never used that exact word. People would still buy stuff though if they became available, despite any reluctance to do so at first.

As for better stuff, well I like a number of male gear in the store, Far Eastern, Scions, FFX, and recently the Berg... (i forget the name, the Germanic looking gear) which a lot of females seem to like too. Mounts; Fenrir, Sleipnir, Whale. It's different strokes for different folks but no denying the store often has some nice things that often seem a little more polished than some in-game items, maybe it's just me then...

I'm personally a huge fan of the SDS Fenrir. It's one of my favorite mounts in the game. Not everyone's cup of tea though.
