Let us buy the ranked PvP mounts please

Let's face it, the PvP in this game isn't good, but the mounts look pretty decent.

We should be able to buy the PvP mounts in the item shop.

White Ravens stopped being sacred, why should PvP stuff be any different? Though I'd prefer Gold Saucer to Mogstation...

Yup I wouldn't even mind if the tagged "Replica" at the end of the pvp mounts. At least make them obtainable!

You can't get everything just by throwing money at it. If you want the rewards, earn 'em.

How about make mounts cost 20 wolf collars, and only put up previous expansion mounts, this way the mount stay exclusive for at least 1 expansion while giving everyone a chance to earn previously missed mounts but they still have to participate in ranked PvP and win a good amount, this will also hopefully get more people into it.

20 wolf collars = 5x Silver rank (which is near a whole expansion to earn anyway).

People like their exclusivity though so I doubt much support (even though when you start doing the same mount a 3rd time which is a slightly different colour exclusivity kinda falls a little flat).

Basically what Crushnight said, make them available for purchase through either wolf collars or gross amounts of marks 2-3 seasons later. They've broken the exclusivity "rule" for other items and I don't see how PvP gets to be some sacred cow.

The thing there is that some of these mounts have become practically impossible to obtain since people aren't playing certain PvP modes that the mounts are attached to, so not only will you have to win enough matches of modes, but you may be in queue for a very long time just trying to get into those modes in the first place.

I do think that a compromise for those out of date PvP modes would be not to add them for real money or for MGP, but to make it so you have to buy them with wolf marks. Then you're still doing PvP, but you can get those older mounts. Besides, it's not like they don't have a precident for making those old, hard to get mounts now easier. Look at the Yokai mount for an example.

Another example of how great this community is instead of having something indefinitely accessible lets timegate and gatekeep certain items!

The only thing that should be timegated are probably titles anything else such as items should be available indefinitely.

I'd be down for wolf marks if you could dump pvp points into wolf collars. 10K or 20K each.

If they decide to actually make these available, they may dump them with the moogle tomestones. That’s where I see them popping up if they do.

In a past interview he Yoshi P says that he doesn't intend re-releasing past Feast rewards

I think the reason they've released so many recolors of the mounts is specifically so the dedicated PvPers can feel like they're getting something "new" with each season, while those who jump in later can still have a shot at at least getting one variation of one of the PvP exclusive mount models.

The large over looked issue with these rewards is they often go to the same people who (once they cement their rewards) will often RMT to get other people their wins. There should be rank decay or at least allow us to be able to get some sort of recolor for the mounts.

The few people I met in Eureka who had these rewards we not exactly subtle nor humble about it either. (the selling of wins I mean)

hmm 20k marks for 1 collar and 20 collars for one OLD mount (as said by someone else) sounds like a good thing to me, if someone wants it that bad they basically got to grind 400k wolf marks per mount

an old idea i had years ago was to have the rewards from the ranked be glowing and the 'bought' ones be non glowing a win win ranked players get a shiny mount and can also get the non shiny one if they please while those who enjoy more rival wings or frontlines can get the non shiny variant

I dont even play the pvp in the game, have not much interest in it, but when i see someone on one of the pvp mounts, i get the urge to try it. Thats why there are rewards there, to get ya to try it, and thats fine. Maybe if every so often they dropped one in the moogle tome events, maybe.... But i wouldnt want to see all at once, just one and it should cost a pretty decent amount of tomes, outside of that? No. I think pvp mounts are just like tank mounts, if you want them, do the work to get them.

This is commendable. I mean, the people did bust their butts for it, so I do agree with that. What they should do is at least release a recolor of the mounts. I think most people want one of those Doberman looking mounts. I think a different version should at least be released for the public. That way the PVPers can have their exclusive Mount while others can finally get a version of one.

Because this game’s pvp is terrible, that’s why pvp rewards are very exclusive to the one who dedicated their time to.
They deserve it.

The PVP Mounts are nice and yeah, I'd love to be able to have gotten at least one. But... I don't do PVP. The people who enjoy it and have put the time and effort into getting them, deserve them. If people want them, just go slug it out in PVP... and for the time limited ones, hate to say this but: sorry, too late.

there are 4 color versions of hellhound already, 3 of magitek conveyors, and 2 each of the others. putting yet another recolor would dilute the pool even more.

I don't like PvE in this game, I should be able to buy savage and ultimate gear from the mogry event or mogstation because I have money. PvE is so garbage and boring to me just make it gold saucer reward or something.

I have every top100 mount, and I wasted my time for it every season, I really liked PvP in heavensward.

You guys know what rarity is in an MMORPG ? Why it should exist and why not everything should be easy to get?

You know the time investment to make top100 in a season? You can make it on one weekend if you get enough pops for half the day. Legit most other stuff in this game takes much longer to get.

If they bring old rewards back, PvP ranked gonna die.

I only do a little of frontlines and I managed to get a few mounts. I think the people who have earned the mounts/gear or special items should stay that way.

Why has there been so many requests for non-cash shop items being made available for purchase? I thought people hated having to buy things in-game with real money?

Would be nice but unlikely. If I were to play devil's advocate, they should just pack it up and remove the PvP from the game, they clearly put more effort into PvE anyways. Just redistribute the rewards via Wondrous Tails or even Faux Hollows.

If they will be in itemshop it means they are also realistically unobtainable. PvP is dead, no one playes it, no one likes it, thats why mounts look good - Yoshi P and his team is not capable of making it fun, so they create small population artificially, by adding interesting rewards. Its a case with all PvP mounts.

Maybe add them to gold saucer for fair price, or raise wolf marks cap and charge like 100k per one. You will still have to do PvP, but daily frontline will suffice.

That's your opinion and exclusive rewards shouldn't be taken from others just because you don't want to put in the effort. You will never get these items you need to accept that and move on.

No. Stop asking for participation trophies. You want the mount from PvP or the Feast get a group and get on discord and practice and go win. simple as that.

I do not PvP in this game (Tried it once, hated it) but people who did put the time and effort into getting those mounts, they don't deserve to have that achievement undermined by this pay to win attitude. Why can't people understand that to get the reward you gotta put in the time and effort? I get it, the mounts are cool af and I'd like them too but I'm not willing to do PvP and therefor I will not have them. It's ok for other people to have nice things you can't, fair does not mean equal and all that such and such

And those achievements/mounts can never be gotten again. Ever.

Unlike say, Alexander mounts which can be gotten later unsynced.

Like I said earlier, I just want them obtainable after the fact. Somehow.
