please let me grind fate o MF zerg, and o MF blue....

Honestly, it's really not that bad, even with the zerg and/or BLU factor. I just finished over the weekend, and in all the FATEs I did, there were only a handful of times where things were dying super fast.

My best advice - always join a group, keep your map open and watch the spawns yourself, don't be sluggish when moving between them.

Which map are you doing? Follow the crowds, if you miss this one, you will get the next one.

Get to an active FATE and even if you dont make that one, start following the group of people who just killed said FATE - that way you'll get credit for the next one.

Even better than just joining the train would be to a join a group - that way not only your progress towards the FATE counts but you'll also get credit for the contribution of your partymembers.

youre a tank? i did most of the fates so far just solo as tank, i either ripped agro (as even there IS a tank he wont put on stance as too lazy) or being the one to pull with the others comming and kiling the fate for me...

Ah yes, but that's what you're going to have to be part of if you want to complete ARR zones in the near future. Join a group, be pro-active in watching for FATEs, and don't be slow in arriving.

How is this supposed to work? Honest question. I equip the watch and for me I often end up soloing FATEs but I've got one (1) medal I think. Maybe I'm in the wrong zones? Or is there a low drop rate on these things?

Each minion has specific zones in which they should drop. https://imgur.com/OgXrU0Z is a handy little picture that will show you the zones you need to be in. You can also find this information by opening up the Minion Guide from the main menu, and it will have a little button under the minions that says "Open the Yo-Kai Medallium".

A friend of mine said that they did about 40 FATEs on their first minion in the wrong zone completely, and they did manage at least one drop - so it sounds like you can at least get them, but it's INCREDIBLY slow and painful if you're not in the right area.

If you're in the correct zone, it really shouldn't be that bad. My worst streak took me 27 FATEs to complete one weapon. Others were as quick as 16 FATEs. Obviously results may vary, but this does seem to be around the norm from speaking with others.

Thats how FATEs work, though - they dont required thinking, they just require AoE-spam.
So... join the crowd, spam your AoEs, maybe join a group for extra credit and stick to where the other people are going? FATEs actually scale based on how many people participated in the last one, but that only goes so far - "efficient" FATE-grinds kinda rely on having that many people around.

If its really bothering you: Wait two or three more weeks and enjoy needing 5+ minutes to solo a FATE.

My suggestion is don’t aim for boss named FATEs. That is mainly where Missle isnused from BLU. Do join a group (or make one in PF for others to join). AoE is gonna be king in this event so make sure to be a class that has lots of them (even at low synched levels)

Stressing about it at this point isn't really worth it. I completed 13 weapons in three days (admittedly, 3~ or so hours per day doing FATEs). You have until 5.4 launches to complete the event, which doesn't currently have a projected release date. I've seen estimations range from November of this year to as late as January of 2021. You've got lots of time. Do 5 medals a day and you'll still finish in plenty of time.

1. Join a pf which is grinding fates in the area you want, or make one of there is none.
2. Follow your group to every fate.
3. At fate use a lot of aoe.
4. profit

I also thank the parties currently for doing this, makes it easy to wait on specific fates for the arr relic weapon I want as glamour and I can get enough credit for gold before they get there.

I finished yesterday and it wasn't as bad as you, and many others, say. I wasn't even in a party, and yet it was easy. Just go tank. That's pretty much a waranted silver rating in 99% of the FATEs

I decided not to even start it yet. I know its going to be extremely crowded, so I decided to wait a month. Will be much easier. :)

Actually if youre running PLD in fates, turn on tank stance and do everything to generate as much aggro as possible. That will normally net you silver (if not gold) fairly quickly. Use your oGCDs liberally as well. Dont save them. Depending on how long you been grinding every area for, you get a feel for what spawns where in fates. Stand in those areas and spam aoe during AoE fates. Boss fates you just need to aggro as much as possible.

For YoKai, you dont need gold for the medals, you just need silver.

Your only bane will be if you get to a map with BLUs spamming missile over and over and kill a boss in 3 hits. Thankfully this isnt to often on bosses but if you do run into them, there are atleast 2 other maps that the medals work on AND if things are that bad, swap to another minion and farm that for a bit.

I finished today and it honestly wasn't too bad, definitely wasn't fun but the only zone I left because it was always overcrowded was Central Shroud. Doesn't hurt to wait a month though :)

Awesome! Congratulations! Yeah, I just figured if I waited a little while, it wouldn't be as much of a zerg and I would be able to enjoy it(as much as one can enjoy FATE farming ^^;) a little better! But thanks for the info!

Honestly don't do it as a Lancer/Dragoon, especially in ARR zone where the FATE levels are usually low. Dragoon only get its first AOE attack, Doom Spike, at level 40, and the inability to use AOE on fate groups and the necessity to choose every single one enemy before you can attack them will do you disfavor when trying to do FATES in general (excepting boss ones)

Level synching for the FATE turns off the stance. It might not be laziness, just forgetfulness.

Waited until Sunday since I was working and thus far it's not been too bad on my server. I would say early September might not be a bad time to start if you wish to wait. The tokens drop fairly reliably, so most of the initial zerg should be slowed down by then.

if i cant peacefully do fate... or people keep interrupting/zergling/blue maging the fate mobs/boss... how can i enjoy it?
its better i dont subscribe but its too late now, few hours ago, US already a week start for this event while jap like 3-4hr to next day event...
if someone interrupting you while doing treasure hunt, wont you angry?

You failed to realize that zerking fate is not an interruption or disruption in any means. It's always been like this since the game services started and there were any fate related activities. I'm not arguing about bluemage since it will become a long discussion.

If someone interrupting my treasure hunt? Like what? Pull the monsters toward the party while we are fighting? We could AOE them down easily enough, but I gotta admit, I haven't even see any harassment on treasure hunting?

Fun fact, while waiting for my farm groups to fill i was doing BLU and rushing fates, I aoe'd the hell outta em and use missile on boss mobs so they died faster, like, i shoved a good 1-3 min per fate which made them overall spawn a lot faster, too... If you find ways around it youre fine, if you insist on using the low exp to level smt, fine, but dont expect everyone above your level to slow down for you - why would we do 10 fates an hour if we might as well do 100 >_>

find a team and keep it together, go tank, get blue, just wait till it dies down and you can hammer 5-10 min on a fate... its up to you.

All this was totally predictable, if you blindly subscribed it is your problem but the problem that would happen the first month of the event was something that anyone could deduce.
