It's 'one leg inside the tank' only for you to turn into mario when you go inside of it. I personally find it hilarious and would hate for them to change it.
Roes also don't fit on a lot of mounts other races do, same for Hrothgar. They have to make due.

I love female roe poses for most mounts. Always classy or with a good pose, and I'd like to see if anyone has an image of how we look. What would be great is if the quest version was different from what you'll get later on depending on your race, and keep lalas the same. -

Oh no I absolutely LOVE when the mounts don't fit larger classes. It makes so much sense that the Dwarves just give you a tank but didn't bother making it your size. It's pretty hilarious to me and I love seeing it on others when flying.

Haha it's great; but it's a case by case basis. Dwarves seem like the kind of people who don't care, it's like their houses, designed for their small size only. I wouldn't want them to adapt this new design policy for all mounts going forth though.

This mount should be scaling with the height of the driver but they decided to design it for the smallest race and make it one size fits all and then had to pose and position every race to somehow "fit" into it and even for the race they designed it for it is horrendous.

I want to bump this thread because I have a separate but related issue:

It seems if you have anything with fabric around the leg, like a longer skirt, ao dai, dress, etc., the fabric protrudes the top of the tank. Any way this can be resolved? For characters who sit in the tank itself, can it maybe cull the legs? Or hide their bottoms? Or disable fabric physics for the chest and leg gear slots? I never have this issue with the Construct VII mount, which likewise is piloted from within. I get this means some situational programming because some character show their legs while in the tank and some do not, but this is worth getting right, no? Seems like FFXIV already changes the way race/gender combinations use mounts so I hope this is possible. -
