Disturbing final boss in Nier Automata raid [spoilers]

Can we please pixelate the final boss in the Puppet's Bunker? It's super disturbing and it is not something I want to see. Please pixelate it or I'm seriously considering boycotting the raid until something is done about it.

I don't know if anyones watched Dr Who before but it really reminded me of the "ganger" episode lmao

Because it purely exist to be an ad for Nier, most people like me and soem friends also think it simply not fits in the Final Fantasy world as main raid, a Trial like Monster Hunter was ok and still fitted with the monster bounty stuff.
Nier tho feels way to alien honestly, i enjoy the fights and music still, but the overall story i honestly one of the rarest things i do, i skip it. The design is way to weird for this world.

It's censored already compared to the version in Automata, in which

Adam is born out of a similar cocoon of machine lifeforms as a fully-grown, nude man, albeit with no genitalia. And at the end of the fight, his brother Eve is similarly born from Adam's body.

Ahh yes, the super disturbing nature of seeing metal butt cheeks of a mannequin you can find in any store in real life. So 18+.

I can totally understand off the side of the main story that contains mass murder, genocide, lots of rape references, that seeing a robots metal butt cheeks can be too much.

Unfortunately it seems you're just going to have to boycott the raid this time.

I never understood why FFXIV has only PG-13 for the US market but PEGI 16 for Europe. I feel Europes age rating would be more appropriate.
Anyway this smells like a troll post, they wont pixelate anything, just get carried for last boss or dont go the dungeon, whatever.

America does not have any age rating higher than PG13 except for R

This was basically my reaction, though with Aria of Sorrow's Legion.

Why do people even entertain bait threads like this, especially since you can clearly see who's starting them.

I know of 2 or 3 that have been banned from the forums now...

I always joke about it, but playing Alice: Madness Returns back in the day was somewhat of a vaccine for disturbing imagery in games for me. That game had some seriously messed up visuals, so every time something like this happens (I love seeing first timers reacting to Calcabrina in Antitower) I just remember MR.

Also, that's the Symphony of the Night ball.

In fairness, I've even seen non trolls bring up how disturbing that final encounter is to them. As a Nier player I thought it was pretty neat, considering that such things are considered normal in the Nier universe. Yes, a giant ball composed of android corpses and the subsequent building of a 2P lookalike out of said corpses is normal by Nier standards. If people want to see some truly crazy stuff then they should probably pick up Nier Automata and give it a go, though I would argue that the first Nier game was a bit more...strange and 10 times more of an emotional roller coaster. Can't wait for that remake.

Clearly someone has not played Drakenguard....which Nier/Nier Automata is a spin off of... check out Ending D and Ending E that is some creepy crap among other things through out the game

As a pre teen, I remember watching a lot of movies where topless teens and their boyfriends brutally get murdered while having sex. That was the norm.

I like big butts and I cannot lie. And I'm a self diagnosed hemophobic as any blood as a result of an injury (my own or anothers) will cause me to lose consciousness.

I'm sad the "This Cannot Continue" music didn't come on for that fight.

Honestly the final boss of the raid has become my sleep paralysis demon.
