Arrow Animations

It is only a matter of time until, in addition to water damage arrows, there will be other elemental arrows as well as enfeebling arrows. I feel it would be a good idea to add an addition animation each time these arrows hit the target based on it's element type. For example, when a Red/Blue/White Coral arrow hits the target there should be a splash type effect on the target, fire effect for fire arrows, and so on.

I feel this would make Archer a decent amount more fun. Does anyone else feel this way?

I think this is a great idea and honestly I am suprised that this wasn't something that was already in place.

Agreed, NoMX. Along with an animation for taking damage from shock spikes, punishing barbs, etc, etc. So pretty much add lots of cool looking animations! :D

I hate using dart... I love it... But i hate it.

There's no animation really. The character flails the staff or sceptor towards the enemy, then nothing flies outwards, then you hear a thud when it hits. lol

The game really does need fun, revamped animation. Most THM abilities have really cool animations IMO. Blood Rite II, Dark Seal II, Emulate, Shock Spikes II, Scourge II, Banish II, and contagion all look pretty cool... But Shadowsear has a sucky, awful, terrible animation. A tiny black circle pops up for like 1 second then disappears. Its supposed to be shadow fire that burns the faces off your foes... Then Resurrect has absolutely no animation at all, same as Raise.

I honestly think Lancer has it the worst for animations and attacks though. All their weaponskills use 1 of 2 different attacks.

lol idk Archer has it pretty bad too, all the useful weapon skills are the same animation. They will address the lack-luster animations I'm sure with future patches, it was asked during one of the player polls. I think it was the second.

Only reason anyone uses Arrow Helix is to look cool.
Skill does stuff all else.

Now Quick Nock.. If you had elemental effect arrows equipped, and each arrow could be seen streaming out of the bow to explode on it's target with their respective elemental effect.
That would be cool to see.

Love the idea and hope for something like this. Funny on main site they show different arrows which aren't in game such as poison and ones for multiple enemies. Would be cool to see big purple bubbles bursting all over the mob from poison arrow

I would love to see the arrow effects but skills in general need new animations first. I'm getting bored of seeing the same slow draw back animation
