Probably a safe bet they won't get them given there is no pic with them wearing it. The items are cool though. Happy the emote is included in the event and not something we have to chase down elsewhere.

They put this work into creating great looking ensemble outfits.. that.. two races can't wear the hats to.

I don't understand why people continually complain over something they know is standard. When Viera and Hrothgar were added to the game they made the community very aware of this short coming. Why after an entire year are people still complaining? Give it a rest already. I am appreciative they offer events on a consistent basis that provides new emotes, glamour etc.

I wonder if the suits are dyeable they show 3 different colors.

If you look closely, on the little item icons they have that empty circle, meaning they're dyeable but don't currently have a dye applied (since that's the default). So yes, I believe they are able to be dyed.

why is that housing stuff not a mount... i demand a mount like that (´；ω；｀)

Looks promising! All the costume bits look like they have individual potential. The sandals are particularly nice.

2020 hasn't really been the best year, maybe we'll see some more updates with the new expansion. That's how I at least see it, although it is weird they haven't added anything at all.

Because people want this situation to be changed, that's why. So far they didn't even get promised new hairstyles, of course people would complain.
If anything, more than half of changes and updates in this game are the result of community speaking up for this. That's how feedback works.

They never said there would be change nor have they given any indication that it's up for debate.

If people care about the topic I'd think they would keep track of it. They have said that they're working on giving Viera helms that are just for them (My assumption is that they're referring to "Fran helms" hairstyle option for future hairs) as recently as march but they never said they would make hats and helms work on these races. Like ... ehh ... I get not liking that a glam won't be complete on your character but I'm glad they're not taking cool hats and hair from everyone just to be fair to people who were told not to expect hats ever.

Anyway, shocked that the Hroth Hawaiian glam isn't from this event but pleased! Guess it's either from Ishgard or new maps drops. More shirtless options is always welcome and I see some good use for some bits here.
Love emotes as well, that dance looks hella long and well made.

I love everything about this. This is gonna look so nice on my femroe. Perfect summer glam.

And is that an aloha emote I'm spotting? Aww yiss.

You were not promised anything. They literally said they were going to add the races even though they really didn't have the resources to do it. The community figures if they throw a temper tantrum long enough they will get what they want? Grow up. Please. Yoshi and the devs are well aware at this point you want what you want. If/when they get the resources necessary you may or may not get it. Move on to something more productive.

Time to once again challenge the accursed tower. Glad to see this year I'll be able to have an appropriate dance to use if I ever manage to get to the top!

I just hope that for the rising event we dont have to pick up the garbage from this event. We may have to smack some NPCs around to keep the beaches clean this time.

Personally I thought that part was brilliant.

Love it! Especially the arm bits and finally a long pareo.

I do not like those. Other years were way better

A bikini using 2B's butt would've been awesome. But this looks pretty good too; especially the emote

The sun glasses from a few events ago will go well with the rest.

Because they can still wear some headgear and because these are new items so maybe some of us still have the hope that there will be new items that can be worn by the new race. (And even with the complaint one can still enjoy the rest of the event.)

So posting in a thread in a civil manner that you are disappointed in one part of the new content is now throwing a temper tantrum? Honestly the only one being harsh is you.

This is a discussion forum, which means that there will be people posting opinions that you dont like. But its in their right to do so.

Anyways about the event:

Stuff looks cute. :)

The outfit looks really nice! And I'm happy we're getting something different this time. Food was nice but I missed getting outfits on event, plus an emote ! I'm quite happy with that.

Moonfire is consistently one of my favourite seasonal events, not only due to taking place in one of my favourite zones but because the rewards are generally of high quality. I guess it helps that my house is right on the beach in Mist, so I always have a good excuse to use beach based glamour...

Emotes are always fun and I like the long pareo, though I still with they'd give us a dyable short one already too. Do we really need another identical bikini top though? I mean, really?

There is a Hawaiian shirt being added as well, probably from maps. Yoship showed it off in the live letter.

Free dyeable outfit, free emote and something new for housing. Can't complain much about this.

Pretty much a good event. Time to craft some fries for the repeatable quest.

I'm more interesting in Megalodon Vs King Bomb. now there's a good movie idea :p

I swear I supported SE when they noted hats wouldn't be available on Viera/Hrothgar models. It didn't bother me. But I really struggle with understanding why the dev time isn't put in to ensuring all NEW hats are wearable by them.

I really do my best not to whine about things in game and be supportive given all the dev team tries to do for us. But every single seasonal event that comes out where my Viera/hrothgar can't wear the hat, or the new dungeon gear coming in 5.3 where my hrothgar can't wear the tank veil helmet. It stings.

I love how the viera/hrothgar models looks but after a year, it just doesn't feel acceptable anymore. It's a major bummer.

Excited for all the event items outside of that though.

What is it with some in this community who foam at the mouth and try to shut down any discourse in dogged anger when many in the community offer justifiable feedback for a product (I.E this game)? I think you’re the one who needs to “grow up” here, feedback and criticism is a part of healthy human discourse, if you can’t handle that then maybe you shouldn’t be on forums,

I'm very excited for this event!
Moonfire Faire is always a lot of fun for me, and I have a couple alts that will give these rewards a good use ( * - * )
