My wife has the same problem. Don't bother looking for any fixes we tried everything.
I can log in on my account just fine on her PC and on my PC. But she can't log in on mine or hers so it's not a connection issue. It's a server issues, seems like you just need to wait.

Me and one or two other people here on the forums have had this happen to them yesterday as well, and after spending all yesterday looking for a solution I can say that this is an error on SE's end.
The error only applies to that character. I can log into a different account from this computer but my main gets hit with a 30002 error every time after character select so there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. I've seen people say that if they create a new character on that same account they can play the new character without any issues, so for whatever reason its character specific... Whats worse is that I've found posts about this dating back as far as 2010 with no solution ever found... So either our characters are rendered useless because of an error on SE's behalf or because of the number of people who are all having this error at the same time they look into it.
Just wondering, when did you activate your account? I activated on the 30th and my character didn't get moved to its new server till the 5th, where I could play fine till I got this error yesterday. Just want to see if there's anything in common with people who are getting this error.
same here i reactive on 4th of april and relocated into new server which is last patches. and after that i get this error ..... yesterday and i am SHOCK !!!!
The only thing I can think of is SE is doing something with the characters who didn't get moved with the initial batch of characters who were active before the server merge.
My only hope is to wait till mid/late April when the transfer of characters is complete and hopefully SE fixes the error by then, else we just wait and hope SE fixes the issue on its own, or create a new character on our accounts...
So yeah. This hit my account yesterday too. I reactivated my account on like April 2nd. It took them nearly 3 days to move my character to Sargatanas and become playable. I had literally about a day and change of play time when I got hit with the following on a login

I too am positive that this is a SE problem because my friend got the game on friday to play with me, and he could still log in his account on his computer yesterday, but when I tried to log in on my account on his computer it would give a smililar if not the same error. I've already put in a ticket to SE but they have a negative amount of customer support on the weekends. So if my account doesn't become playable soon, when I call customer support tomorrow I am kindly asking for a refund on my money. Getting 1 day's play with over 7 days of subscription is not what I call fair service.

I wonder if there is anyone who activated their account between the 30th and the 5th that can still play or if its an error that effected all of us. Its nice to see that there is some sort of pattern as to who this is effecting and its not totally random. Means it would be fixable on SE's end if they ever get around to doing anything about it.
Yeah its a shame they wont know about it until monday though. The 100% lack of customer support on weekends is BS, and the odds they actually look at these forums on the weekends is probably just about the same as the odds of you gettin a reply from customer support on the weekends. I don't expect to be able to get back on before monday. If only I wasn't so burnt out on wow or something, I'd play a game that has real support.
This is actually a reassuring thread to me.. I spent pretty much the whole of yesterday afternoon trying to figure out what was wrong, since every "solution" was blaming the user's connection or an IP conflict on our end. More people agreeing that it's server end at least makes me feel like my character isn't doomed >_>

Yeah, all the other posts about this 30002 error are pretty vague as to why people are having this issue. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this to see what caused this and help all of us with this problem. Least now we know that this seems to have effected people who have come back after the first batch of server transfers, and hopefully SE is able to respond to one of our tickets and let us know what is going on.
If I manage to get back in game I'll report back here just to see if its an isolated fix or if they managed to fix all of our characters at once.
HAHA I just got an email from SE like less than a min. ago saying they got my ticket on this. You know, the one I put in YESTERDAY. Man I got a good laugh from it and just had to share.
That's reassuring. I sent one yesterday night as well and are yet to hear from them. I wish they would make an official statement on the issue, with the amount of these 30002 threads popping up there is defiantly something wrong on their end and should at least let the player base know that they are at lease aware of it before any more people quit due to their lack of customer service regarding this.
Welcome to the club everyone. :( Same issue here. I was playing just fine friday night (3/30) and magically saturday morning BOOM. Can't log in to my main. Still can't, either. I try every day at various times of the day and still nothing. No help from the support center, either. Those guys are worthless.
It's sad because I want to love this game but it's like SE doesn't want me to.

It just said they got my ticket and will reply within 2 business days. It seemed more like a late auto-response than an actual response.
not sure when will they reply the mail for us, since there are Easter Monday =S. i wander anyone working in SE on that day T__T

So, I'm at a friends house and he logged in on his account on here for me since it wouldn't let me log in. This is Lafier, and when I tried to log in to post on the official forums it told me the follow error.
Since the login to FINAL FANTASY XIV in the last 30 days could not be confirmed, you are not allowed to log in to the official FINAL FANTASY XIV forums.
I call BS on this since I posted on the website this morning, and I logged into the game on friday, only 2 days ago. And last I checked 2<30 when it comes to math.
Hmm, that is odd. So far nothing like that has happened here with me, but on the bright side something has changed, so maybe its a sign that something is happening on SE's end. That or because you sent them a ticket they want to take away your forum posting ability so its like your problem never existed to the rest of the world. >.>
Ha, it got fixed thanks to the kind person in another thread. Website bug apprently. Have to go to some random other part of the website to log in. Was really stupid and I was perticually not pleased with it, though there was a simple fix for it.

I truly hope they take notice of the 30002 errors tomorrow, and plop us all back into playability.. My first few days having an active account again and I don't feel very active. I hope there's something I can help them with one day so I can tell them I deeply apologise for their inconvenience and will look into it.. and then go to sleep.
I've had my account activated for about ten days now and I've gotten to play for about... two of them? I'd be angry if I didn't have final exams the next two weeks, so at least this is forcing me to study for those instead of playing this. And seeing that you guys are all having this issue as well puts me at peace thinking that SE will surly fix this issue... at some point.
Yeah. Being in the same boat does make this easier somehow. I've got a stack of jrpgs gathering dust that I never even opened. Suppose it's time to go for them huh? :P Just had time set aside to dive back into this game and it hasn't worked out too well. Does make me a little angry since I was returning having heard good things about the improvements they've been making. I think they missed a spot >_>
After doing a quick search of the JP tech support board I found one topic there about some people having the same issue. A SE rep responded to them yesterday as well, and from what google translate can make of it he just says he will report it to the correct department or what not. Not very helpful but it seems like they are at least aware of the issue.
Them being aware of the issue one ups what I was expecting. I honestly didnt figure any of their support did anything on the weekends. I was under the impression that all problems can wait until monday.
All joking aside though, I feel kinda bad for the rep that I talk to tomorrow on customer support. After the 2 hour hold I expect >.<

I did send my support ticket in.. and as this thread said earlier, got a (late) auto-response email of them having recieved my ticket. I do hope they send me an answer saying "We've figured it out, and you're unstuck!" :(

You have to have a ticket number before they can do anything for you though. But it is infact a real person (if you can survive the hold).
If you were on Durandal i'd pay them a sum of money to force them to implement a way to have us wed. Thank you.
Hey everyone just a note, it's been about 43hrs or so and my Wife is finally able to log on. Not sure what the problem was but I hope it's fixed on everyone else as well.

Well me gettin to play 1 day in the run of a week doesnt mean I'm still not calling and asking for a refund, then resubscribing. Dont see why I should have to pay for something when I dont get to use it. Kinda like walking into a gas station, buying a candy bar, and instead of eating it gets set back on the counter.
Though I can now also log in.
After days of trying to fix my sudden lag, I finally made it. Now's 30002 turn! Just started getting it too. :(
I've read around restarting your router for a period of time (30minutes) works, will give it a try.
