One year into Shb, were the battle voice changes appropriate?

I think they said they would revert the battle voice changes they did in Shadowbringers if people disliked it enough. So what are your opinions on the Battle voice changes now that we've "gotten used to it?"

At first it was weird for me because my character used to be almost completely silent, but I got used to it and tune it out like any of the others. I don't really think it was needed, but it's a harmless addition.

I never even really noticed to begin with. The additional voices for my midlander fit in just fine

I'm all for keeping them. It's nice not hearing just the same two over and over.

I haven't noticed any changes, honestly.

In my case there are no issues, but i know people who are not satisfied. Easiest solution - add toggle to switch between old and new set. Server side preferably.
Giving choice is always the best solution.

They made my Viera so quiet I can barely hear her, so I can't say I honestly mind the changes. Just that I'm not quite sure why they were made to begin with.

Early into the SHB's patch cycle they 'tweaked' a lot of the existing battle voices. Some barely changed, some changed a lot, and others got mildly more annoying.

I honestly don't mind the additional voices added, I just really mind the frequency they changed it to. You could go 4-6 skills without a battle grunt on disciple of war jobs, that's a really bad frequency; no one, if anyone complained about the frequency of how it was before shb, as far as I remember.

A frequency option would be a great QOL.

They already made one for the breast physics, a specific toggle to turn it on or off, why not this haha?

That voice was the greatest thing ever.

I know they would lose a fortune on fantasia sales but I wish we would have gotten a free character re-customization when they did it. I was really picky with the voice I went with and was not a fan of the new voice bytes in combat. Not the worst thing in the world, though.

They did a terrible job with changing the voices. They don't match the original voices they were coupled together with at all!

I would appreciate it if they did change them back and just gave us previews of brand new seperate from the old voices so we could help them better decide what sounds okay and what just sounds like a cat getting ran over by a deer.

tfw you bite into your ravioli but its too hot.

I'm still unhappy about the new battle voice clips added to my character. I wish there was an option to turn them off.

Haven't fantasia'd back to female miqo'te since. They added such high-pitched squeals to the voice I picked that it became actively irritating to play as certain jobs. If I had to hear one more "Eeeeya!" as a BRD or "YAYTTT!" as a WAR I would probably have just pulled the plug on my Playstation.
