What do ya think of the new Bring Arts Y'shtola figure?

Doesn't look like the legs will be too poseable with the big skirt, but it looks like it's layered in ways that allows it to splay out so it shouldn't be too awkward.

The Estinien figure had a lot of small pieces that pegged in that kind of came off easily (better that than break off though lol) but it doesn't look like Y'shtola is gonna have that problem. Though it looks like, like with Estinian, you may have to take the weapon apart to put it in their hand (which is a bummer, but means the grip should be solid).

All in all I'm pretty excited and I've preordered it.
What do you guys think?

The skirt looks like it's probably softer rubbery material so it can move somewhat for poses.

I love this. Can we please get one of these for EVERY MAJOR SCION!
Thancred, Minfillia, Papalymo, Yda, Urianger, Tataru, Alphinau, Alisaie! PLEASE I must have them all!

(and maybe one for best boy too! rip)

and if SE needs ideas for more merch... how about some statues of primals like Ifrit, Garuda, Titan, Levi, Bahamut, etc...

I am looking forward to the day I get to see mine in person.

I hope we get the HW version too. Y'shtola looks great in both her WHM and BLM attire-- and really both should be available at this point. I can't wait to get my hands on it! Now I just want the life size versions. XD

I think it's cool. Would be great to have a few more physical FFXIV mementos before the game servers shut down eventually.

Doesn't seem like a cynical assumption yo. Entropy is real and nothing lasts forever.
It's part of why I'm lapping up the figures even though the game is nowhere near done.

I'd quite like a Hien, Regula or Varis statue.

I dont know to be honest..Im ok with the rubbery feeling of it but Im very disappointed by the last statue I bought of Estinien from them, thought it would be a better quality for the price.

It looks good for what it is, but I'm sort of over YShtola as the face of the game. It's not that I don't like her as a character but I don't really get why she's the mascot that she's become.

Anyway, I would actually really like a Tataru statue. Maybe in Nendoroid style.

What did you find so disappointing?
Personally I'm not too fond of the limited poseability, but with the way his armor is designed he kinda was doomed to basically be a statue lol, especially next to other popular lines like S.H.Figuarts and the like.

I mean, they've got that Taito figure that shows off just how well something like that could work.

Figures who cant change poses would be nice because then they would not have these points where it looks off to me.

I was actually quite happy with the Estinien bring arts. I'd like to see a statue for the Exarch, Emet-Selch, Aymeric, any of the other scions or Ysaysle (although there is the Shiva statue).

So you'd prefer a statue?

1) The face is horrible.

2) Y'shtola is a crap character.

While I like Y'shtola, or rather tolerate her when she has her moments (she is kind of... overbearing at this point due to the fact that she just won't die), I'd have liked to see someone like Ardbert or Emet-Selch, or even Minfilia.

she's a mascot of XIV because Yoshi p said so. IMO it should have be alphinaud be because he's always there by your side, literally. Y'shtola is a boring ass bland character, overbearing, just not fun or exciting to be around. she's dull

have you seen the other mascots for other FF games? sex appeal and being underage didn't stop Yuna for being the face of FFX, and she's 17.

Yes, because the figures right now look just like toys to me and if I pay lots of money then I just want them to look awesome. I dont need them to move around, just to be great quality and not break easily.

Sadly cannot please everyone, I wish they released more of then at a higher frequency, would love to have the entire FFXIV cast of characters on my shelf.

I haven't bought an Arts figure in years. The moment they release a Alisaie figure, I'll be dropping that cash hard.
