Thanks for breaking the game again.

So I was playing the game perfectly fine yesterday but since the latest "hot fix" things have gone to complete crap! When i logged in earlier the game was running at about 10fps and I haven't changed anything. I can not enter any of the Inns if i talk to npc it glitches and blocks me from talking to any npc and now the best of it all. I am completely alone in the world all the npcs have vanished and there are no enemies anywhere. I have restarted the gamne 3 times and nothing has changed. This is completely unacceptable this isn't free to play anymore, I am paying for this.

The idea of a fix is to actually fix something not break the game even further. All i know is that i had none of these problems before they took the game down again.

strange enough, nobody else is having this problem. Probably it's a SE machination to ruin your experience

Seems to be camp bloodshore I'm having this problem. I am standing outside Limsa and everything is normal now. While i was at Bloodshore nobody was getting my tells either. It's like the area has been sucked into another dimension lol. I have never experienced anything like this before.

Yeah I had problems in the Limsa area also. I went to help a LS member with the 45 WHM fight and in our first attempt all the recast times on our spells were set to 5 minutes after use and we saw no progression on the casting bar when casting a spell. Logging in and out fixed it so we could get him the clear, but now I am stuck there as return and teleport won't work. I was able to choco back to Limsa after several force closes and tried taking the warship but got stuck in the now loading screen..... Fun times, its not just him.

Server crashes cause all of what you just described, OP and Tawnee, if servers for those areas were crashing/rebooting you'd experience some really off the wall stuff.
I haven't heard any of these things since beta but we all know servers still do crash.

Looks like it was a problem with our Server then, hopefully it will sort itself out.

The server structure atm is kinda busted, but not all that different from most games(MMOs), which is to say that

Each world is a grouping of servers those servers broken down into smaller groupings for each nation and each nation grouping broken down further to support specific areas. The flaw is in the load balancing that's apparently not present.

In a decently structured server farm an area under minimal usage would share it's resources with high usage areas i.e. Mor Dhona Machines give Ul'dah machines some support to offset the absurd loads on them. For all intents and purposes the servers in this seem to me to be dedicated strictly to a single area w/ zero resource sharing/load balancing.

The devs would know more/better, but I'm fairly certain I'm not off. That said, if a machine in the Bloodshore pool drops only other Bloodshore machines step up to help, overloading them causing them to fail, more drop and well you see where that's headed.

Erroneous behavior is to be expected in these circumstances.

This also means that even on less populated worlds if something causes servers to crash weird shit's gonna happen.

Whether you're correct or not, that's a well-thought out theory.

I also am stuck with this problem in Limsa on Ridill. I can't talk to any NPC, cant port or return without the game glitching. I can't even logout properly lol. Hopefully they fix this soon.

Well i'm glad it's not just me. The problem does appear to be exclusive to Limsa and its surrounding areas. I am not having any problems in Uldah.

I had this issue as well the other day, no one at all could see my text, emotes etc, via any channel. It was extremely annoying.
