Former Beta Players? ... even... Error?

No but really, anyone else from the good old alpha/beta forums still around?

The game has had a retention rate of roughly 9-10%. Chances are most people from alpha or beta forums are long gone.

I was there but I only spammed & trolled it when I got bored ingame

I've been around since Alpha, and I'm glad to see that this forums is actually better than the Alpha xD

I've been around since march 1st last year (start of alpha), rough ride so far lol :cool:

Now let's just hope these boards don't turn into another war of repeated topics, ridiculous posts, flaming, and wars over the merits and demerits of cheesecake.

I was around since the first wave of beta but it was on an EU account I was given so I was a member of the EU forum community.

I was in the beta, but not in the beta forums. I got in during one of the last invite wave before the open beta and while could play the game and read the forum, I couldn't post.

I played in the early stages of beta, but was afk at release due to college, I finished it up and I started about a month ago, grinding my butt off and I'm going to be 50 soon :D

From Alpha - So yep, still kicking.

Oh man... I almost forgot about the old cheesecake posts... that one post lasted for months and got to like 60 pages or so...

Anyways, it's nice to see that we still have some of the old alpha/beta players around. You read the gaming media sites and you would think every single person jumped ship. =P

I am a original Alpha tester and proud of it! I'm enjoying the game, even though I know a lot who aren't :/

Hopefully they released some new content soon to keep people interested, too many of my friends have quit out of boredom/frustration already.

Welcome then. If I recall right around the end we vowed to avoid classifying ourselves into old (Alpha March) and new (Alpha June) players and be one big unified improvement group, so no worries, we're all the same regardless of when we got started :D

Alpha (Day 1) here. Still lurking around. I've been taking a break from FF14 till it becomes fun. I simply can't put myself through the pain anymore, its not worth it.

alpha reporting. i remember first switching to conj and finding it being super easy to level up compared to the melee classes. now its like its the other way around lol

Stage 2 Alpha here, still kicking about. This new fangled forum doesn't let me have the name Terra (FF character name blocker, I think), but I was, and still am, Terracus Partisian.

Late Alpha tester back in! Same forum name, couldn't resist.

Been playing FFXIV on and off since the updates, including one reroll because I didn't like how my character looked after a while.

I've been around since the beginning of closed beta! =D

Beta for me, I member using my phone to get the key. Though I'm a little surprised at the state of the forums, It looks...unfinished, like there are features missing.

Early beta here.
To me the game runs & plays better, but still gets boring real fast.
Same stuff next day ; ; , still hopes for the best.
