What would you like to see if they update character creator?

Much more facial hair (beard) options for as many male faces as possible.

These 2 options are pretty much FF12 analogues, though, especially 2nd.

I'd like to have the Tactics-Advance-Viera-ears in XIV, since I like the contrast between them and the hair a lot.
(Plus, TA was the debut of this race, hence my pick is also for nostalgic reasons.)

- Actual eyebrows for Highlander men as well as some classically handsome base facial options.
- More facial hair, especially the stubble used by the Warrior of Darkness in promotional footage/screenshots.
- Additional scar, tattoo and face paint options.
- More short hair, especially the sort that is masculine looking.

I feel like all of these can be done without an update to the character creator, and could just be added to the aesthetician. But I agree, I'd like all of these.

Aside from just saying "more options in general", I would specifically like more variety on the color palettes for hair, makeup, and tattoos.

(Inb4 booty slider.)

Multiple slots/layers for facepaints/tattoos. So you can mix and match different paints.

Hair accessories colours. Stuff like the band's and the bows on pont tails would be nice if you could change their colour.

The legendary butt and bulge sliders ofc.

Age/complexion sliders.

Hair length slider.

not sure if it's been said but makeup and face paint/tattoos being separate area aka if i want to have say an eye shadow look with the heart tattoo i should be able to

"Build" - Make the character fatter or thinner. (not with a slider, though. Just preset options.)

Body Hair - The Hrothgar kind of show that it’s possible. So, why not?

Beards - Huge ones. I want a big Ramuh-esque beard.

I'd say more pigtail hairstyles, but I know they're not gonna let us have those for free, (no4r would they need to update the creator for it)

Would like to have the option to use more than one type of facepaints though, maybe also have an option for add more then two colors to the hair in some form likely maybe having the fringes be seperated into left and right halves or a way to have stripes in the hair?

Spots/stripes/patterns for Miqo'te tails and ears... Hrothgar have them, why not us? T_T

More than four faces for each race? Or, if that's not possible, updates to existing faces to fix some of the weird texture/shape issues. (Some of face models look very outdated and poorly rigged in comparison to new NPC face models they can create; the oddly sunken Elezen cheeks on one of the face models comes to mind.)

- More face/jaw/eyes/nose/mouth/and so on options for all races
- No exclusive skin colors for clans (for example, i did choose Keeper of Moon beause their eyes and fangs, but i pretty much hate their available skin colors)
- A "body type" option like the one in ESO
- An option to use the race-exclusive voices AND animations of a different race (for example, being a Midlander girl, but with both the voice and animations of a Miqo'te; since bodies are pretty much the same, the only missing things would be a tail and ears, but everything else should work, and move, fine). To work corretly, It would require to be like "wanna use miqo animations, then you must also select a miqo voice"

First of anything, a completely update of face graphics for the old races. Vieras came with a perfect skin yet the highlanders faces are the perfect example of why they need to be update.
Second one, eyebrowns for highlanders.
Then... I'd like to see body options, presets at least.
I think this game needs more long hair for females and masculine haircuts for males.
About options for the faces, it could be nice if we can just mix the options that we already have. If not, I would like to see new and more faces for each race.

Aside of "Character looks"... I'd love to see an option for the way our character run/walk. Like calm/hard. I don't know how to express this in english, sorry.

More facesets for everyone, especially Elezen ladies. Such a noble, lovely race needs more than 2 faces.

Separate AuRa Horn selection from face selection.

The option to mirror hairstyles, in addition to some of the things that have been said above.

I think is would be nice but honestly I don't think we'll get character creator updates.Would be nice to get more viera/hrothgar options for hair. Seems the dev team is already having trouble giving us those basic additions sadly. I sincerely hope we get something for 4.3 but with Covid that might not happen now.

I would like what has already been mentioned: more beards, more faces, eyebrows for Highlanders, body shapes, mirror hairstyles, etc.

I would like to add animations. The characters should move based on attitudes, not race. I really hate how Elezen move. They move really effeminate. I would like that we could change their animation, so I don’t have to run with my weapon out, so I could at least run normal. Obviously this would be optional as some people like how they move, but give us more animations to pick from so we don’t all move the same. In real life, movement is based on attitudes and abilities not race.

Another one for Elezen, neck slider. A lot of people ask for this and I agree with it. The one reason I don’t use any clothes with exposed neckline unless it looks good the the Redbill bandanna to hide my neckline.

Maybe add a 3rd clan to each race. We know they must exist with Gosetsu being a different Roegadyn. I would like to play as one like him. Hilda is another type of mixed race clan of Elezen Hyur.

Unlock all hairstyles for all races and clans. It’s freaking hair. We should be able to manipulate it however we want.

The ability to mix and match facial hair. Some faces & races have better facial hair options than others. I would like that they would also unlock facial hair for all. This would create so much diversity when it comes to faces in males.

Handedness. I’m left handed and would like to play as such. Some roles kind of are, but I would like play with all roles left handed.

I'm kind of surprised that scars aren't a universal feature available to all races considering the backgrounds of clans like the Hellguard Roegadyn and Xaela Au Ra.

Butt slider. You think i'm joking but voluptuous 1.0 asses say hi. I love my character, except for one thing. Her curveless ass. This game could use a major ass rework.

Increased facial hair across all races, facial piercings, body hair and body tattoos being an option.

Just like people want the horns separated from the faces for au ra, I'd like to see miqo'te marking separated from their faces. Like let us select between the forehead options, cheek options, and if we want the dark nose or not, as well as be able to choose between tan (seeker exclusive), purple (keeper exclusive), or white (open it up to both so we can make the 1.0 trailer miqo'te!). It would really help with the sameface syndrome a lot of us catgirls have. I'd also like to see female miqo'te get access to those CUTE AS HECK black ear tips, and I'd like to see those black ear tips be separated from the hair so that any hair could have them.

It would be nice if they had more/separate makeup options. It would be nice to add face paint without sacrificing my blush.

I'd like to see body tattoo options and not just facial ones.

I'd also like it if they gave us more height options. I love my kitty as is, but it would be nice if I could make her a little taller than she actually is.

Along similar lines, it would be nice if we had some more control over how muscular some of our ladies look.

That's all I can think of for now lol.

Even if it's not race specific, I would take it. ♥
For example, sometimes in the MSQ cutscenes you can clearly see how the warrior of light is walking completely different from what you normally would do.

I would like to see Elezen updated. so they don't look as awkward. Also more face options. and more makeup options.

I would like to see more options for variety like muscle tone. markings/horns separate from faces. more makeup. or more hight/body type options. any of these i would like. does not have to be all of them.

Oh, Def hair types and style options, improved butts and hip options that I don't have to like always cover up with a jacket, muscle bulk options for specific sections so you can get options like soft muscled pectorals with hard-cut abs (Muscle bulk and cut sliders would be easier to implement), revisions and increased varients for elezen faces, tail fur length to be adjustable in the aesthetician, options for tail accesories (bows ribbons, rings), increasing the job previews to allow for retainers to use the expanded list of jobs, Dyeable Base-Undergarments, increased bust options, Hair options for Viera & Hrothgar...

I'm out of ideas

-24 bit RGB color selector for Hair, Eyes, Tattoos, Lips and Face Paint. Not skin but maybe like double the options (the shades between the shades)
-Scars, I mean real scars, for everyone. Not just paper cuts.
-Mix and match clan features within each race. You can choose to limit to one clan or you get all the options, and for RP purposes you get rough percentages of your lineage based on your choices.
-Explanation of naming lore on the screen when you are naming your character. Including names from The First.
-The 3 butt compromise. You get a choice of 3 butt styles including the current one.
- Freckles separate from face paint.

- Most important: Nobody should be handed changes they don't want. If they like their character the way they currently are they should be able to keep them that way.

More face paint designs.

More colors for hair, lips and face paint.

Long hair designs that are worked on where they can function with clothes that would usually clip them by automatically hiding said hair under hat, in/around collar, etc~

A butt and thigh slider to add curves to the lower body of the character.

Will add "show hairstyles names on mouseover" on character creation wishlist, kupo! \(^o^)/
