Game keeps crashing without an error message

FFXIV has been crashing for me for about a month now with no error message. Its instant and completely logs me out. It happens often and i'm not sure what the issue is as ive already uninstalled, reinstalled, reset my wifi, and pc multiple times. My drivers are also up to date.

When exactly did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

Do you notice any patterns to this error? Does it only occur in certain locations or while doing certain actions?

The crashes started occurring about a week before patch 5.25 was released and then slowly became more frequent after that. There are no patterns that I am aware of with the crashes currently. The crashes also seem to happen anywhere. In instanced content, overworld maps, to even cities and hub areas. No specific actions seem to trigger this either. It just seems completely random.

You may want to try some of the following if you haven't already:

-Try a a clean reinstall of your graphics card drivers to reduce the potential of conflicting configurations.

-Disable any overlays (Geforce Experience, Discord overlay, etc.) that may be present while playing the game. Also make sure to close any other programs that are running alongside the game while playing.

-Perform a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

When you reinstalled the game, did you remove the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV)? If not, try removing it, but be sure to make a backup of this just in case it doesn't resolve the issue.

Ive just tried everything listed above and am still experiencing crashing. Not sure what to do at this point. Could this be a server traffic issue? Ive never had this problem before.

They don't know what's going on or how to fix it. There have been multiple threads both here and on reddit with the same "solutions" that don't work. I have the same issue and I just pretty much hope that I don't crash while I play the game. Especially on Savage.

The only solution that works most of the time for me is to restart my PC after I crash. But it's not 100% because I still crash after doing it.

Yeah this really sucks as im trying to prog E8S too. The game is pretty much unplayable.

We would like to recommend having Windows and FINAL FANTASY XIV installed on the same drive (preferably the C:/ drive if possible). We would also recommend turning off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.

None of these have helped so far. This cant be my PC at this point. Not to mention the file locations were never an issue before this.

If you use a certain app that raiders use. Try going into Options > Output display > Text Export Settings > uncheck "Export to Clipboard after combat."

We apologize for the delay in our response, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

- The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
- Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
- Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
- Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
- Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
- Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
- Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
- Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

-Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game

- Check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
