The Feast Season 15 And Wolf Collars

Hey everyone!

Hope you're enjoying the start of season 15 of The Feast! :D

As you probably know, season 14 didn't include Wolf Collars as tier rewards since some rewards were not ready.

Well, fear not - Hellhound Dancer and Gunbreaker weapons will be added in patch 5.3!

Whether you've saved up on Collars or plan to get some more this season, it will be a good chance to add fancy weapons to your collection at the end of Season 15!

Oh and ICYMI, this is the mount awarded to players ranking in the top 100 of each Data Centre...

Oh I was wondering if wolf collars would get anymore love and here we go. So... when might we get to see some mounts in there too? Make them like 50 collars or something. Attainable with work but not, you know, Pterodactyl-levels of insanity.

Why shouldnt PvP get exclusive items? 99,9% of the games items are for non PvP content :P

We've had a single exclusive mount this season and a recolour, haven't you got enough?

Right now, some poor dev is chained to his computer scream-crying "WHAT MORE COULD YOU POSSIBLY WANT FROM US!!!!" /bangs head on desk

I find it to be pretty disappointing that so many Garlean themed mounts are being added as rewards for ranked PvP that are only available on a temporary basis.

And I find it disappointing that 99.9% of cosmetic items in this game are given out easier than candy on Halloween, considering that the people who whine the loudest about them, don't even want to do the content to get them.

That's hyperbole, surely? There's plenty of cosmetic items that take a while to acquire and although some are made easier to get over time, there's far better ways to boost engagement with PvP than offering exclusive rewards to a small amount of players that is only available on a temporary basis. To say nothing of the sordid history of cheating present in earlier ranking seasons and people advertising 'boosts' on third party sites.

I can't say I see much 'whining' either. Just constructive criticism.

Outside of ultimates. Can you name any item in the game that takes as much time and effort as feast rewards, any whatsoever? That 'don't' get easier over time?

Let people have difficult to achieve items that they need to compete for, for christs sake. You get so much every patch, this is the one thing that feast player unanimously love, the top 100 rewards. And what's boosting got to do with it? Want me to ban them myself?

Relic weapon (it gets easier for old relics when a new expansion comes a long but the new relic will always be time consuming), Some achievement titles and mounts... I know there's more out there that you would need time and dedication to complete. Just depends what you really want.

You missed the point of effort. While relics take time, they take little effort.
There's also no competition for them.

The PvP top 100 rewards are a good thing. We need more things like this.

I won't agree that it takes a little effort for relics but you are right in there is no competition part. What I am saying is there is a lot of quest, achievements etc in game that you will need to put a lot of effort and time just like in feast. The difference is the competition factor however we also have different rankings in FFXIV Only feast has the time-limited rewards so far. Who knows maybe soon, time will tell.

But with everything else you get them anyways if you put enough time. Feast you might play 1000 matches in a season and still not get rewarded

Deep Dungeon floor 200/100 runs, tripple triad NPC gacha hell, big fishing, the items still exclusive to the older hidden canals or getting the mount from bald arse
