To Soken about new boss music

I find this decision horribly wrong...
Not only this remix is Bad... I guess like all Dissidia NT music (is it cursed?).
But now it also completely ruins experience of hearing normal version first time at 3rd boss of Holminster Switch...

I just did The Grand Cosmos and 1st and 2nd bosses were so wrong with this music...
And i checked Holminster Switch after it just to confirm my disappointment...

It's ok to have it in Anamnesis Anyder and next new dungeons in future, but please, please revert this change for old 5.0-5.1 dungeons.

I'm one of few who actually really like "Phantoms on the Lake" / "Persistance", yet they've been used for quite some time at this point, and the other dungeon boss theme (which I believe is mostly ARR) really doesn't suit any ShB dungeon at all, so they added something new and relevant.

Every expansion typically reuses the theme song in some way countless times. There are so many variations of Insatiable (be it action, slow-paced, sad, etc) all throughout the story, so having a mini-boss theme doing the same makes sense.

I think what OP is really getting at is that most people are affected by the primary effect and associating the original song that plays when they fight a boss, with that boss... or the original piece of music that plays in a dungeon, with that dungeon.

Like for me, I agree with OP. An older example though would be the musical change decision with Pharos Sirius. They had 1 minute ish beautiful musical intro to the dungeon, and people asked for it to extend and loop for the entire dungeon. When they remade it for the loop, it sounded different, and pretty much everybody who liked the original 1 minute version doesn't like the loop version.

I am one who likes the new boss music (I am a rock and metal fan in real life too.)

I don't think some people would want to hear the same ARR, HW, or SB mid boss battle theme in ShB dungeons again either. So it's a toss-up on preference in this case.

So lets have an option then... What is one day Soken will make some remix of Answers, and will decide that he need to put it on End of an Era intro...

Or at very least they need to make this boss music less loud then... At some points it starting to be so stupidly loud, that i can't even concentrate on boss.

Subjective.

Recycled boss battle from ARR/HW/SB was too much when they had the opportunity to introduce another theme.
This choice should have been made at release, not now.

You'll get over it. We all have music we don't like for certain reasons.

I have a solution which everyone will like.

We need "A Long Fall" on all sub-bosses.

Heh, I actually don't like, "A Long Fall" at all. :P

I like the mid boss music they used in the past. But its nice to hear something different for a change. And I like the remix.

Its not fitting for all the bosses.

I don't hate the primals version of the song, but I definitely prefer the original version more. I guess its okay that they left it for the last boss of each dungeon, but I dunno

It’s also in the Last dungeon, ruins the “End of Days” atmosphere that the music and the voice overs perfectly convey

I can't think of a single game post 2018 that doesn't have patches and tweaks. It's not the 90's anymore, and you agreed to the terms that said they can change features at any point.

That's hardly true. Unless you consider the theatrical release of Bladerunner or Kingdom of Heaven to be the "true" version of their releases rather than the universally preferred director's cuts that came later. Or hell, even XIV 1.0 compared to 2.0 and beyond.

I don't even prefer the new version of the song, it does feel less "right" to me, but that hardly means the original version is always better.
