*Requested dyes next round* Rose gold, metallic/pearlescent pink...what do you want?

I love that we got some new dyes this time and all of them are really nice. But as someone who is big into the glamour aspect of this game, I personally can never get enough dyes.

I would love to see the addition of a metallic rose gold and a metallic or pearlescent light pink added. When I dye any metal armor with pastel pink, the color that comes out is amazing. But I don’t wear a lot of metal armor, so it would be great to have that type of color available for regular fabrics.

Plus we have like four colors of metallic gold in essence now, can we please get Rose Gold, White Gold, and a normal Silver (lighter than what we have)...maybe platinum?

Lastly (for my wish list), please do not lock all of the dyes behind the Ishgard Restoration. There should be other ways to obtain these new goodies instead of everything going through a single channel. Let’s have some variety! :)

What colors would you like to see? You never know, perhaps the devs will look at the board and see the thread one day. Hope springs eternal!

I'm a bit surprised we don't have a metallic bronze dye yet. It would be nice to have one. I also would really love metallic pinks and more metallic purples. I think metallic versions of all the pastel colours would also be a nice addition.

Purple and pink suffer a bit in general with having a small selection so an expansion of those (normal, not metallic) would be great.

Agreed. Said this in another thread, kind of a shame I'd have to have a crafter to get these properly. Crafting sucks. Still apparently it is a lot easier to level, though I don't know if it would be worth the inventory management headache. I can barely manage it as is. I honestly don't know how anyone actually manages theirs without wanting to pull their hair out!

I'd like a proper shade of purple, like #bf00ff. None of the existing purple shades, except for metallic purple, come close to that.

I like all of these ideas!

Trying to remember when was the last time before this they added new dyes, might take another two years before we get anything.

YES! Purple needs some love!

Vibrant purple and like a vibrant light green
Deep vibrant green
Metallic versions of the darker dyes (so metallic dark green, dark red, etc)
Metallic dark brown I guess would be more of like, a bronze maybe?
More shades of orange, some a bit brighter or more vibrant without being metallic
Pewter gray (metallic or not)
Bright coral

Yea, definitely some good purple. Looks like they "buffed" red, yellow, blue this time. Maybe next time we'll get green, purple, brown?

Something like "Old Gold." There are a TON of gold decorations on the gear that are a tarnished or older gold color, not bright yellow-gold, but our only gold dye is bright metallic gold and none of the yellow or brown dyes work well either. Even if you get gear where the dangly metal parts dye instead of the cloth parts, it's almost impossible to get the metal shades to match across various pieces of gear. /cries in tank armor bits

Call me crazy, but I'd love to have 2 dye channels in items. We have some wonderful items that the default coloring is, say, black and red. When we color it..I dunno.. blue? The whole item becomes shades of blue. Rather wouldn't it be nice to make the black part white and the red part blue?

I have worn the Custom-Made Cuirass since forever. See how the main armor bit is a kind of bronze, and the under part is red? Would love to replicate this coloring with other gear.

I would LOVE to have the metallic colors that match the armor pieces. I love the light steel galerus set, but trying to match that armor is such a pain. Same goes for so many of the metal colors. I totally agree with you. :D

YES! YES! YES! Oh how I would love this feature! <3 Most items that have multiple colors originally will go completely to a single color shade palette. This is clearly evident on the new Neo-Ishgardian gear, but it is a problem with just about every piece of gear that I own. I would like it if you could dye a piece with as many colors as it began with. That is only fair, yes?

I'd absolutely love different color channels.
One of the best features in GW2 imho and the gear looked fantastic. The same piece of gear can look completely different based on the color combination your chose.

I'm also all for rose gold, tarnished gold and some proper purple. It's a shame that it's either too pinkish (regal purple) or too muted-greyish (grape & currant purple). I wanted to get a nice set for my BLM with some proper purple but none of the dyes even came close to it. I like the shade of the Shisui Mengu of Casting but you have almost nothing to match it.
But I'm really happy that they started adding colors. The metallic shades look beautiful.

I'm after a metallic pink myself. I do like what they've added, and gunmetal black and pearl white are lovely metallic black/whites by themselves, but I do want more options. I think the metallics especially.

Perhaps then we could achieve the "true" dye color on any material.

Wonder if a neon green would be possible? Though multi-channel coloring is what we really need.

Vibrant greens, oranges and purples. Some kind of dark berry shade between rolanberry red and plum purple. Metallic lotus/pastel pink, metallic dalamud/ruby red, metallic lavender purple, metallic abyssal blue. Also a metallic "crystal white" which shimmers in pure white and light blue shades (pearl white is warm toned).

I'd love to have peridot green, that vibrant, striking color as seen on gemstones or tree leaves just bloomed.

A real sapphire blue would be nice too.

I just want more purple and yellow dyes that aren't horrendous to look at and/or use. SE made bigger strides in the yellow department with this dye increase but purple got pretty shafted.

I love to see next metallic black dye, metallic white dye, metallic pink dye, and maybe some chrome themed colored dyes.

I love the metallic lavender and the crystal white ideas especially. An iridescent, opalescent color of pastels would be beyond my wildest dreams, I think. :)

Metallic Crimson. An actual metallic red and not the purplish hued thing we have now. A wider selection of 'pearl' dyes (i.e. metallic pastels).

My husband and I are having our Eternal Bond anniversary (5 years!) tonight and he has a female avatar, but is using the groom’s coat with a skirt and hat and the new white looks amazing on it. I just wish that my pastel pink had a sheen to stand up next to that pearl now. But pink is my color. I used metallic red at our original “wedding” just so I would have a metallic sheen for the dress. But I felt out of place not being in pink. Last anniversary we did not go formal, so it wasn’t a big deal. But since this is year 5 in game (and 20 in the real world), we thought we had better make it a special event. I might consider the new cherry pink. It is bright, but would be in keeping with the redder toned Asian dresses for weddings. At least his outfit benefited from the new dyes. Maybe next year I will have a pearlescent or metallic pink. :D✨. I will even take a Rose gold gown! :)

Hate to drag up an old topic, but actual gold dye would be nice. Metallic gold doesn't work for me because of that reddish hue. I can't make a gold theme to go with my surname/hair.

Funny enough those shorts from and event is gold, but SE, why no dye? D:

I want to see good Orange shades, not more browns. Like a Vermilion color for example.

Ofc I would want a chartreuse yellow like the color of the MNK Vintage i90 gear a lot more.
