Bring back the other Frontlines!

As title says, since the release of Onsal Hakair (Danshig Naadam) the daily frontline rotation is over. This is a huge issue! I am totally sure that's not a new post whatsoever, and I am not the only one unhappy about the end of Seize Rock, The Fields of Glory and Borderland Ruins. No one does the other frontlines anymore since they are not avaliable currently at 5.2 via Duty Roulette. I hope that the devs know of this and it's only temporary, I do miss immensely the other frontline duties, and just as Rival Wings (worst than RW actualy), it became a dead content. People still do Rival Wings, it's easier to make a party for it then any of the three previous frontlines. I personaly am not a huge fan of Onsal Hakair, and brings a shame to my heart that the other frontlines are dead as it is by patch 5.2
I do hope that this been adressed and the daily frontline might be changed like the way it once was. Please, bring back the dead Frontlines!

It's kind of weird. I assumed they would come back with 5.2, but alas... Looking like 5.25 or 5.3 at this rate, unless there's something that they are unhappy with about the old maps and they are being revisioned.

they're probably waiting to see how many players reach some kind of checkpoint first before they revert back. something like queuing frequency or how many people have gotten the mount.

Yeah as much as I enjoy Onsal I also liked playing the other objective based maps rather than this zergfest, but im sure they will return soon and its only like this to help people get their 100 wins achievement.

Maybe SE one day will learn to not attach certain things to one mode. Ha Ha who am I kidding they still haven't learnt that yet.

Was hoping they would’ve added Onsal Hakair to the daily rotation and then add all 4 maps to the Daily Challenge queue with 5.2, but I guess not enough people have the new mount yet. Hopefully it wont be until 5.3 before they change it.

I want to experience the other maps now that matchmaking has been fixed. I imagine Secure and Shatter will be quite intense with even teams.

if there was absolutely no rewards attached to doing Onsal Hakair that mode would die out. right now other than mount/title for wins it has no other unique reward attached to it.

I mean just add new achievement get 100 wins. Don't tie it to a certain map. That way they don't have to lock the roulette like they do. People that come late don't have to think they will never get mount because map shows up only a couple times a week. Titles are ok tied to the map since they reflect something from the map in theory.

they do it to create "excitement". mount collectors will go after mounts regardless tho too.

I don't feel collectors are the problem. The problem is the doing it later people. We have all seen the comments "I just need X wins for field commander coat" or "I will never see X item".



Wins tied to one map when roulette stars up means you can only get wins once a week. Tie that to amount of play time someone has. The lack of instant pops or pops outside of a certain window period. Finally the fact that we all can't be winners as well. Just aside I do think people should have to put time in to win just like it is now. But only getting a chance once a week knowing what I know, I probably wouldn't even bother.



That is why I feel it is short sighted design. Since SE already has data on how often people win and how many games happen per data center. I would just like them to put some thought into something that seems so obvious.

Right, as soon as we get some kind of rotation back (and among 2-3 other maps/modes), we can look forward to the thread(s) popping up: "I can't get x achievement/mount because the map only occurs twice/three times a week! Plz fix!"

No matter how long they leave Onsal as the only map, you know just somebody is going to miss the ship and take issue with it.

I don't foresee them changing how the achievements are awarded (based on mode-type/map); Freelancer wins including GC-specific achievements may be a thing, but you're still affiliated with whatever GC for everything outside of PvP, so it's not an equivalent comparison.

it's gonna be a lose-lose situation in any case. but it's basically because the game runs 24/7/365 that this kind of system is in place. the only restriction is your own playtime you put into it.

yes please bring back the other maps. it is called monotonous and i am tired of playing this map already. it's been 3 months of spamming this one map.

I miss the old Feast maps so much. The current one looks like it belongs in the Saucer.

They missed the "include all feast maps" bullet point :(

It would be nice if they could separate it from the overall patch delay and implement it sooner. Unlike the other things they need to work on, I assume it's just flicking a switch. Though it could need some underlying programming of the roulette, perhaps.
