It's time (Option to hide other Lalafell players)

So now that we have little fellas running around with swords so big that in all rights should topple them over, it's about time we have a feature no game has ever been innovative enough to come up with: Hide Things. Naturally, people are going to assume it's because they're annoying or whatever, but no, I assure you it's because their cuteness damages my immersion in this high fantasy video game. Their innocence is unfitting for such a gritty and serious world and no one would seriously let their children slay gods during recess.

I don't propose a limit to lalafells. Just an option to toggle off lalafell players displaying on my client. That way, players can "express" themselves all they want, and I don't have to suffer another pocket tank being cute and adorable while I slay the next world-threatening deity.

We are quite powerful, I can understand why you might need to limit exposure.

Can we actually just make all players Lalafells instead? That would really help my immersion.

Finally. It's about time.

It’d be really funny to have a Lalafell tank and hide them so it just looks like the enemies are attacking nothing.

I mean, the suggestion from the other thread is just as unlikely to ever be added. Not sure about others, but I was annoyed at nothing other than the "you have no right to do ___" comments.

At this point, we're talking principles of hypothetical scenarios. Nothing more.

I've learned that some people are very very insecure in this game. You can't even have a client side change without offending them and being accused of oppression

Give us an option to hide cats, lizzards and bunnies as well.

Imagine having option to replace every player race-model with standard Blender cube.

Do it until there's nothing in the game but mobs. Could you picture abunch of floating weapons on a stream because everyone banned everything. So you get abunch of weapons wacking each other lol.

No, that's not what a troll topic is. A troll topic is intentionally inflammatory and exists solely to get a rise out of people.

But in all seriousness, if we did get an option to hide others' glamors, I don't see why there shouldn't be an option to hide lalafells too. There's even a (rather popular) mod for it already, so it's not like there isn't demand for such a feature.

Let me replace lalafells with actual photorealistic potatoes. And replace their corpses with a pile of fries.

Only if I get the option to turn everybody else on my client into Lalafells
