Rain

I get it, all the housing areas are by bodies of water, but does have to rain literally 90% of the time?
It's really depressing.

It doesn't? Sounds like you're having bad timing with your visits to the housing districts.

I swear nine times out of ten when I go to Camp Drybone in Thanalan, it's raining.. ironic, huh?

It is constantly raining in Lavender Beds. I can't ever get a chance to enjoy my garden. :( A little less please? It's a forest, yes, but not a jungle.

I like rain.
I like when it rains.

It's raining here in real life right now.

I log in and I'm at my personal house in Mist. It's a clear starry night.

Port over to the FC house in Lavender Beds. It is foggy but not raining.

Go to a random ward in Goblet. Back to clear starry night.

Head to my apartment in Shirogane. Clouds but no rain.

Don't know what to tell you.

I live in the Goblet and would kill for a Rainy day/night. 9/10 times I port in and there is a sandstorm going on or it's overcast as hell. It's hard to appreciate the canyon below when you can't see it half the time lol. Also, why is it ALWAYS night...

I like afternoon rains in shirogane.

My FC's house is in Shirogane, and let me tell you, the weather there is moody as heckie!
One minute it's all sunshine and rainbows, and in the next it's a downpour! No complaints here, however, since the area is gorgeous regardless! Especially the morning hours~

I would suggest doing a little experiment with the local time (or Eorzean time) and note what time you enter your housing area, along with the weather.
Discover the pattern, then enter your home during the times where it won't rain. I don't know how else to help with this, OP. Sorry ;w;

Weather always changes at midnight, 8 am and 4 pm Eorzean time (though it can take 3 Eorzean minutes for the change to register in the sky). Skywatchers will tell you what the current weather is along with the next 3 weather periods.

When I saw the title, I was like "oh, cool, rain! Rain would be a cool feature! Weather! :O "
And then I realised I have seen rain, but I don't think I see it that often. xD

I love rain. I wish it was always raining in game and IRL.

I love the rain, I wish the rain drops would be bigger and louder, it makes you want to be under a roof and feel happy your not getting wet xD
Having said that I wouldn't mind listening to the drops when inside the FC house :p

With some thunder and lightning for dramatic effect.
