Oh man, I'm stupid. She wants a "fancy archon egg" and I keep giving the "painted archon egg."

Still annoyed at the unique flag.

Got the ring from the Dreamer at Ul'dah. Hunted eggs at a cave in Drybone X:34 Y:26. Got the Archon egg there as well. Hear there are different caves near each city. Where did you get your eggs?

painted eggs near cedarwood, plain ones near skull valley

This list still seems to apply, as far as the spriggan locations, at least. I can confirm all the Thanalan ones, anyway.

So far all I know is what the NPC said for the Pristine Ring - one Archon + 3 red + 2 yellow.

I think I'll hunt around for clues before trying random combinations for the other rings, because that could take a while...!

I can confirm that that list is not accurate.. I have tried the cave near drybone and there are no spriggans

it's in acurrate, try x35, y27 that cave has spriggans

Not on my server.. I stayed there for 20 minutes with not a single person or pop

Archon Egg + 3 Red + 2 Yellow = Pristine Egg Ring.

Painted Archon Egg + 3 Blue + 1 Yellow + 1 Purple = Brilliant Egg Ring.

Coloured Archon Egg + 2 Red + 1 Yellow + 1 Green + 1 Blue = Vibrant Egg Ring.

Darkened Archon Egg + 2 Purple + 2 Red + 1 Green = Midnight Egg Ring.

Not sure on chocobo ring….or the hatching pot.

Did you speak with the Spriggan to find out if that was the correct location at the time you were camping the area? They won't spawn there unless it's the correct day for them to be there, as told by the spriggan in town.

If you did and they were said to be there but weren't, I don't know. D=

3 Odd Eggs into the hatching pot gets you the chocobo egg ring.

the fancy egg with 1 each of the regular egg with give you that head peice

completed all achievements and all helmets!, going to see if i put 3 odd eggs in hatching thing if it gives me that special egg the one npc says he can make. also if it does i am gonna try to trade all them at one time.

try old eggs in all three zones didn't work reread the npc and he said spriggan stole them, so maybe it a random rare drop? idk anyone got this yet? or from a higher level zone

Mind sharing what I do with the motley egg?

>> 1 special egg + 1 red + 1Blue +1 yellow + 2 green = 1 Odd egg

>> talk to the npc for obtain the last ring

that actually is the only egg i don't have where did you get that, but what does motley egg do you can use it instead of any of the other fancy eggs to form that combo for the rings or head pieces.

It's on a bridge near limsa outside, but how do you get the black egg cap?

I got a problem. Server crashed while receaving brilliant egg ring. I got the ring, but not the achievment ;_; if i toss the ring, can i have it back ?

So any idea what the Motley Egg is for?

you can replace any fancy egg with motley egg :3 other than that i do not know. >_<

According to what I understand from the NPC it's a replacement egg for any of the other unique eggs. I may be wrong though.

That's all I've found a use for the motley egg. If you watch the fireworks and trade a fancy egg + the colors in the sky you get super sekrit itams (i got 3 hi-potions of int).

Can't find any way to get Chocobo Egg Hat. Tried Motley + 11111. And Motley + Firework colors. Other fancy + 1111 and firework colors. No go :(.

I am guessing you have not unlocked the achivement category and so can not earn seasonal event achivements.

If this is how it works, it's an interesting addition.

** Just looked my fireworks screenshots. Yes of course, the egg shaped firework images. I should have realised :D

I'm rather fond of spreadsheets and keeping data organized, so I went ahead and created a Google Doc that's editable to the public. I compiled all of the data in this thread as well as some of my own. Please feel free to edit if you find anything wrong or missing! I'm only able to confirm the Thanalan areas because I'm too tired to check the other 2 regions, haha. :x
