I would really appreciate it if you devs could maybe add a sin eater glamour to the game, making our char look like a sin-eater. I think it would be very cool as a drop from Eden's final tier. What do you think about it guys?

ESO has this sort of things—e.g., being able to glam yourself to look like one of the enemy mobs or whatnot—and I don't know how I feel about it. On the one hand, it might be a little bit immersion breaking, but on the other hand, we already have a ton of immersion-breaking outfits that are way less cool than a sin eater makeover.
The other reason I'm a bit iffy about this sort of thing is that we don't have much say over who our WoL is, really. For the moment at least, we're the good guys & gals repping for Mama Hydaelyn, and so that rules out a lot of possibilities that are on the table in games where you can choose your own alignment, factions, etc.
We already have a sin eater mount, why not?
You talking about the really skimpy one, or the ones that look like a goat?
That's the thing, the Sineater transformation... was rather inconsistant - you had full on horrific pseudo angelic transformations like what happened to poor Tesleen, and of course Vauthry's big bishonen metamorphosis, to... utter eldritch abominations like some of the the Lightwardens... and then you have normal animals and monsters who just look the same as they originally were save for being given a white coat of paint. And then you have the 'Cardinal Virtues' who.. retained their normal mortal forms... only to again be given whitish/greyish skin and red eyes. So it's all very inconsistant.
I think though given the huge volume of (disturbing) artwork appearing online of players' personal own WoLs as Sineaters/Lightwardens.... they're always depicted like Innocence, Tesleen Forgiven or the Forgiven Obscenity Sineaters and nothing else, so I presume the OP means a form like one of those.
There are already a lot of gear pieces with gold trim that you can dye white (or metallic gold) and "build your own" sin eater costume. You don't need a dedicated cosplay set just to replicate the general style of the designs.
I'd like to see more gear themed after antagonists/monsters in general. I think it was a lost opportunity for the gear in the 79 dungeon to not be modeled after Sin Eaters.
Yeah, this game needs more skimpy cats.
No.
Not just cats, Roes in subligars too, if you're a willing volunteer. ;)
But at least there's a reasonable amount of variety in the kinds of things people can stick on their characters and I'm all in favour of choice.
I'm a guy who tends to prefer not to have overly skimpy characters most of the time because as a roleplayer, I tend to pick glamours I think appropriate for how I envisage that character and I'm not in the habit of writing those kind of characters, though I have one who edges on that, but even then the majority of the glamours for that character are pretty modest. And I have loads of variety for modest outfits.
Trying to play a female character in stuff like Black Desert. It was a challenge to get gear that doesn't look skimpy. Like plenty of variety in skimpy stuff, but hard for something not.
^ This. OP, if you really want to cosplay/RP a sineater so badly, just get a Fantasia, change your skintone to as white as it will allow, give yourself white hair and red eyes, and then like Iscah said set white and gold trimed armour/gear (the Eden gear is particularly useful for this being already white and gold and 'angelic' looking by default, or use the AF1 set augmented for dyes and dye it white like the Cardinal Virtues. The gear that drops in Mount Gulg also works well). Instant sineater glam. ;)
The argument of immersion needs to get outta here. You have people walking around in frog suits.
I'm just that guy in the "more glams? *nods* more glams" camp. I don't care what it is, as long as there's more of it.
To be honest, that's one of the least immersion breaking examples. It just looks like a costume, something a jester or performer might wear. Sure, it's silly, but not outside the realms of plausibility.

A lot would depend on the Sin Eater glam I suppose. Would you look like a Sin Eater, or would you look like a person in a Sin Eater costume?
If I can't cosplay Storge I'm not coming.
Another angle, why not have prisms that function like the actual 'magic glamour' some enemies employ on Leves for example? You could be whatever type of enemy for 30 mins as an example, with your attacks and what not being replaced by random animations that enemy does. Just an idea.
All this talk of beach thongs. Why don't we have mankinis yet?
What about a Bro, or a Manzeer?

If you think about it, both the kitchen fires and the smithing when you are forging materials can be very hot, so it is best to have as few clothes as possible. And if a thong is one of the options that reaffirms that body sculpted by the incessant adventure, better than better.
I stack evasion. Don't need armor if you don't get hit. *taps forehead*
Or add a Sin Eater-like race, having Forgiven Obscenity as the female option
Given the skin tight bodysuits they did for the new pvp gear melee dps sets, it would be feasible for them to add a Forgiven Obscenity type glamour with that sort of sin eater skin.
1% chance at 'a' new race maybe.
Sin eaters being that race? Essentialy 0%.
Yep. It'd be akin to adding a Voidsent race too.
It'd be kinda well...odd for the warrior of light to be a Sin Eater or Voidsent. Whilst they are loose with their lore, I expect this is somewhere they'd draw the line because it'd make no sense for the WoL/WoD to be one. At least with stuff like Noctis showing up they're able to fall on "interdimensional BS", which the FF universe is now full of.
Plus there are races with a higher demand. That said, personally, I'd prefer them to not add any new races, even if I'd like to see Burmecians/Cleyrans as an option. More races = more work they could be spending on something more in demand, as made evident by Viera and Hrothgar being unfinished.
But I've seen Voidsent roleplayers, as an example. There are items and gear in game you can use to creatively to create a Voidsent look and I expect the same for Sin Eaters. I did a quick google image search and there are some decent looking Sin Eater attempts out there.
Heck, I'm sure people would be cool for more Sin Eater-y things to be added for glamours, I mean, we can get the Succubus horns as a glamour for a Voidsent appeal.
And there are creative solutions I've seen for other 'races'. You can make Elezens look almost like Garlean purebloods. You can make convincing looking Gnath (I've encountered a Gnath roleplayer). Moogles just need a better chest piece to glamour and you could pull off moogles.
I think there's creative ways to pull off certain 'races' in this game if you have the desire to have them. And there's more accessories they can add to fulfil them.
Though of course, that's for more humanoid ones.
For more beastly ones, I mean a costume system like they use for certain events might cure that desire, though costumes only work outside of battle for that event stuff. FFXI also had the system without being hidden by certain events, I can turn my FFXI character into a mandragora. So having it might be good for screenshots and roleplay at least. To me it'd be less feasible in actual content.
well, an equivalent to the succubus/demon horns would only be fair
Full range of movement would only be an excuse if we had a dodge tank. We don't. Distracting enemies? Most of the things we fight are monsters that don't really care how toned your abs are or how big your boobs are.
Now, I don't mind when people tank in them, and I don't mind when SE throws us a fanservicy tank set like in the Shisui or Sky Rat sets. It's fine. But we don't need to pretend that it actually makes sense. It doesn't make sense, but that's okay.
