Baseball Cap

We need one of those hats in FFXIV, I made some glams that won't be completed till baseball,/trucker hat is in game, I can't find any good substitutions.

I don't know about a trucker cap (suppose you could make a mechanic glam), but if we could have that and a backwards ball cap I could put on my girl... I could make so many glams. Like using the sneakers from gold saucer... so many glams..

I'd say something about the inclusion of baseball caps and trucker hats ruining muh immersion, but yeah... the game's already chock full of stuff that's equally bad, if not worse.

As long as they can give some lore reason for it, then I'm fine with whatever.

I'd love more visored caps. Maybe eventually get enough modern clothing items to make a glamour after every Jet Set Radio Future character just to make people look at me and go "Excuse me, you're ruining my immersion" and be happy that I did so to them.

As much as I am into RP, I can't really imagine anything more disturbing that all those Pig, Frog, and Chocobo suits we have in the game. And I mean, even they can be used in interesting immersional ways with enough fantasy. After all, FF14 is the world with all possible technologies but some clothes are impossible to have? C'mon. XD

Really think it would come down to if Viera and Hrothgar can wear them.

My hope would be that they do get those options down for them, but as we've seen with hairstyles and the like it's not looking likely.

well as an rper the pig suit has many many many diverse applications

Sure it does. There are even certain NPCs that wear it for their own reasons. It just depends on situation really: every suit in the game can be used earnestly in actual RP session. At the same time it feels a bit weird to go to let's say MSQ Roulette, end up in Praetorium and then witness a chocobo in a serious cutscene. Not a dealbreaker, just looks a little bit hilarious. But then again it looks not any more weird than half-naked characters in Ishgard (though maybe they just don't feel cold?)
