Ninja PvP -might- be broken

Ninja is just a noob stomper, anyone who knows how to actually pvp can counter it easily. It just so happens 98% of the population are noobs so the noob stomper gives off that skewed illusion that its op, even in FL it's a greedy job that offers nothing to the team but points for kills. DRG is the FL god job with that insane aoe pressure that can dictate teamfights

DRGs just god tier in general cant wait for everyone to discover this weeks too late after they think MNKs the one and then get smoked by holms and phys range bind.

Majority of the dps people play in NA/EU are ranged dps. If a class if OP like NIN and it takes a little bit of effort to play, people won't play it that much.

Back before 5.1, I mained DRG and NIN, basically switched between the two whenever the situation called for it. If we were doing fine, I'd run DRG. Beautiful Dps. If we were losing by a bit, I'd switch back to NIN to make up for lost points. It was hilarious.

Honestly this thread was more for satire and giggles. If you stunlock a ninja and focus them down, they can't do much. Then dead. People are just afraid sometimes. Even in a 2v1 scenario. They try to 2 man a ninja, and as soon as their partner drops in less than 5 seconds, they turn their back and run... which is a horrible idea because they gave up a perfect opportunity for when a Ninjas CDs are blown or recovering.

Is it OP in Feast though compared to the other melees? I guess its to early to tell since none play Feast right now but I do agree its very easy to get kills on Ninja in Frontline because how Assassinate resets on kills.

But some Ninjas are absolute garbage in Frontline ive seen a ninja chase after a 10% hp player not using throwing daggers on him i mean come on :confused:

Back when I was playing feasts, if you timed it right with the other dps, you could easily take out a dps or healer

Certainly not game breaking, is what I meant to say. You also had to watch your back more as ninja in feasts, because you were a main target if your ranged dps wasnt a spellcaster

NIN has never had a survivability issue, you are only the main target as a melee if you have medals, are a win condition or are just incredibly stupid.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Honestly, the first thing you quoted, was meant as a joke reply. The second thing you quoted, I mean you're probably right. Thats just how I played feasts from my experience. Of course, I never did Ranked, so my advice is pretty kek. People gunned for me during training matches, especially when I was heckling the healer.

Ninja is still worst melee for feast

I feel like they made changes to tone them down in FL but didn't really take the measures necessary for The Feast parity. Some stuff is stronger in one environment than the other, so while we should definitely prioritize The Feast balance for the integrity of a more competitive PvP environment, they could have definitely shifted power better. Stuff like the mobility of Shukuchi is stronger in FL so it makes sense they targeted that, thought they could up sustained DPS for NIN to give them better pressure in The Feast while mitigating the impact on FL.

OP and most of the posts with it was made before the season even started.

Don't know how they interact in feast but they're stupid insane in 72 mans... like, literally you will see a ninja get 20 kills on the regular. Not dragoon, not monks. Ninjas. It's overtuned as hell and no 'noob stomping' isn't the problem.

It is just they have two execute actions and 2 high range actions for steal kills. They don’t greatly hurt much in 1 v 1

I can only say their design meet the historical image of how a Japanese Ninja supposed to be: weak in 1v1, better in number and better in survival
