Explain what? There were always 1 and 2 tabs with 2 for the current endgame. It was the same last expension, where the "2" was "Raids (Stormblood)". With Shadowbringers they moved the stormblood-raids to "1" because they aren't endgame anymore and the new raids are now in 2.

Well, that explains why I haven't heard of it. I don't ever visit any Youtube channels that would actively attempt to be sponsored by something like that, and I use 3 adblockers.

I actually know the game, and the overused / hyped ad deals they do with youtubers and streamers, but I wouldn't have understood your post if Noitems didn't explain.

Either low quality meme is low quality, or I'm playing a low INT job RL.

Well most of Youtubers I know do need to sponsor videos now since they get work demonetized if they happen to sneeze in a pitch that could vaguely sound like the first two seconds of a copyrighted music.

It's not just YouTube. Keep seeing these ads on Facebook now with invariably the same comments- the ads are a lot better than the game.

I didn't realize you were referencing that mobile game YouTubers like to shill for, maybe I didn't get it but I don't find it too funny, sorry.

But man, I never thought I'd be talking about YouTube sponsors on the forums, but can I ask if anyone else is sick to death of these in video ads? I always skip them, feels like the guy I'm watching is selling their soul just to make some money from a crappy mobile game.

I only browse using my PC. I seldom have to see any of those adds since I use Adblocker plus, popup blocker, some grease monkey scripts and a few other layers of blockers/bypass addons.

....Oh! That mobile game! I was wondering why saying "Raids (Shadowbringers)" out loud sounded familiar!

Whenever a Youtuber begins to insert ads directly into the videos themselves to prevent adblockers from working, I make sure to immediately unsubscribe and to never visit their channel ever again. I even have a browser extension for blacklisting specific uploaders.

But then again, I remember the days when Youtube ads were a method of possibly making some trickle money at most, and when Youtube was considered a video upload site instead of just another form of television. Now, people make it out like it's the end of the world when they get demonetized, as if they are somehow entitled to ad revenue. Sorry, but Youtube isn't a profession.

You people need to lighten up a bit more.
Also that gave me a good chuckle because I knew what it meant right away.

Adblocker doesn't stop the ads for it since the content creators are paid to talk about it and it's woven into the video itself not through YT(which Adblock handles)

You'd have to actually skip over it yourself to avoid seeing them.

I simply seen it as ads for a game that people overused, but a meme? Seriously?

Oh, oh, while we at it, lets call crafting a meme and hoamge to Minecraft because it has "craft" in it, or Fortinite meme because a "Fort" was used in game.

This kind of "memes" are simply not funny and will be forgotten quickly again.

Humour is a very subjective thing. Just because something isn't funny to one person or even a group of people it doesn't mean it's not amusing to others.

It's the equivalent of not liking caviar and expecting everybody else not to like it as well.

I didn't get the OP (and honestly didn't think it clever or funny once explained), but I am definitely sick and tired of seeing hearing about Raid Shadowlegends via adds and youtube sponsors. No I don't want to play a MMO on a mobile. No I don't want to play a game that advertises a feature that plays itself while you do other things. And I certainly don't want to play a game giving out huge amounts of 'silver' because I can deduce from the fact it's called silver that it's probably a secondary currency and the game is probably supported with micro transactions to get gold or gems or something that's above silver.

I do the same with Kung Pow Enter the Fist, and it usually goes over people's heads if it's not the "THAT'S A LOTTA NUTS!" line especially in this game. The fact they called the seal currency Nuts for SHB allowed for some good introductions.

I used to despise it when I was younger because I thought it looked dumb especially from the commercials

I rewatched it probably like 5 years ago and now just admire it's almost like a really big shitpost that made it into theaters with a ton of effort behind it. There's some stuff that's outdated in it but the jokes are so quotable and I love how they edited the scenes. Such a good time.
