[Request] SE, could we please have the option to change between the main menu themes?

I know it's trivial, but I really like the menu theme from A Realm Reborn. I think FFXI enabled players to choose between menu themes, could we please have the same option for FFXIV? Thank you for your consideration.

I wouldn't mind going back to Heavenswards screen. Was the best one imo.

Same! Sometimes I wish I didn't upgrade my alt account from HW to ShB, since I loved the HW Title Screen so much. Yet, if the Shadowbringers Menu was like that notorious fan-made one found on Youtube, I'd probably run it 24/7 XD Also, the official Shadowbringers Title Screen is the only one completely different in theme, as the previous ones all didn't had vocals in it.

Also, since the "ultimate" mount of all EX mounts seem to have the title screen music, it's somewhat sad that the Firebird has "only" the Character Creation theme rather than the Heavensward title theme.

The ARR screen is my favorite as well. It feels the most "classic" and gives me a huge rush of nostalgia.

Agreed, the 2.0 login screen was quintessential Final Fantasy.

You know what I would really like, is to be able to sort my characters in any order that I want.. not just the "Creation Date" Order. Maybe Alph sort or maybe I can rank them the way I want. grr...

But Yes I like the ARR movie way more then the Shadowbringers or any other one for that matter. I wish I could lock it to the ARR Movie.

I would really really REALLY like this, too. For one thing, the intro cutscenes often contain spoilers. I had a large chunk of the end of ARR spoiled for me because I came back to the game after HW launched, and HW's intro cutscene really pulled a lot of the surprise out of the final moments of ARR. That happened a little bit with ShB, too: I left before finishing SB, then came back a bit after ShB launched. It wasn't as bad, but it was still irksome.

Please, one of this game's best points is the great plot. Don't force the game client to show spoilers for that great plot if people stay on the startup screen too long.

The only one that really had an actual spoiler though was the Heavensward opening - ARR's one was just the End of an Era/New Beginning trailer, and Stormblood's one the spoilers were only minor and wouldn't have even been obvious. And Shadowbringers opening is purely symbolic and not a true rendition of the expansion's narrative (several scenes took place before the expansion's time period, and other things shown never even happen at all). So really only the HW one was an actual spoiler, the others were more just showing off things to come without being outright spoilers.

Yeah, it'd be nice to have the option to change things around every now and then.

Can we get a FF community manager to forward this to the commercial or dev team?

you can change the login screen, if you click on "movies and titles" then either watch or click on a cinematic and skip it the login will change to that expansion. not sure if the effect is permanent though

The effect is, unfortunately, not permanent.
Every time you wanna see another title screen you have to select it from the menu while logging in.
If you log out and return to the title screen it'll show any changes, but as soon as you exit the game they're lost and the next time you boot up you'll be looking at the Shadow Bringers log in.

Which blows.
I'd love to be able to set it to match whatever expac I'm in as I'm playing (or replaying) through the game.
