[Request] Can we please get a Fortnite crossover event?

Hello!

Now that we've had a crossover event with Nier: Automata based on popular demand I was wondering if it would be possible to have a crossover event based around Fortnite?

I think it'd be a cool way to add some new outfits, emotes and dances to the game as well as a new PvP game mode based around the 'battle royale' model.

I know that Fortnite's community is almost as great as FFXIV's own, so I think there's a lot of overlap to be found to bring both together in a way that is truly special and memorable.

It's not a 'troll thread', it's a serious suggestion. Between Yo-Kai, Garo and Nier: Automata crossover events a Fortnite crossover is hardly a huge stretch.

FFXII...ok, I can see that, it can fit.
Nier...its a stretch, but ok you could (but didn't really) make it fit.

Would rather have a star ocean or valkyrie profile event then. At least those would make sense.

lore wise fortnite is actually a nice fit with ffxiv. think about it, epic of alexander. literally fortnite reference!!!

all the emotes I have seen from fortnite make my eyes bleed, they are worse than the dance emotes we have been getting from mogstation.

As funny as it would be to see Fortnite dances in this game.. I’mma have to say "Hell no".

How about Persona?

Fortnite has not the player base that would join ffxiv.
I've never even see someone under the age of 18 and it would be uncommon these for 12 year olds to start a mmorpg or to even understand the story.

If this is not a troll thread, then please...no. Fortnite doesn't fit, I don't think we are a good target audience for it and I hate that game. I'm all for other people enjoying it, I don't want see it's claws dug into this game. Shameless plugging of other games can only go so far before it becomes unpalatable.

The Fortnight crossover can only happen after we have the XIV x Fat Albert crossover we've all been dreaming about.

Halo cross-over to celebrate XIV getting Xbone'd. Replace Garo event gear with Halo event gear.

(I'm joking of course, but given we just got "Nanomachines son" armor added to the game, a set of Ancient Allagan Mjolnir armor doesn't seem too fanciful)

I rather Have Atelier Ryza crossover if u know what i mean :^)

I want a Promare crossover but I have zero expectation of anyone even considering it.
