I'm surprised there still isn't a Gigantoad Triple Triad card.
There’s one in the lore books.
Yea there is one in the lorebooks...Actually, isn't there one on the lodestone playguide too? I might be mistaken...But hey, that'd be a better place for it - Having to download a few hundred extra megabytes for a feature 99% of people would never even read is probably best relegated to a website page on the lodestone.
Encyclopedia Eorzea II & II
Afraid you would have to piece it all together from the lore books, triple triad cards and the blue mage spellbook.
comes with beast master limited job
:(
lore would be nice but I have only seen those in games where enemies have rare drops and elemental/debuff weaknesses.
Would be nice to have one that fills out over X amount of kills and would provide bonuses. Some damage up/defense up and increased HQ material drops is just an idea.
Would be a nice addition to the new 'Collection' feature. :o Maybe not practical, but then again, fluff features are kind of FFXIV's thing.
Main reason I would want one besides it being a collector's dream is to view enemy models. Kill an enemy type, unlock its model in the bestiary - fully rotatable, fully resizable, and you can even see it do its different animations. Far too often cool enemy designs are wasted in this game cuz you just can't see the darn things through all the attack animations and general chaos of battle.
I like these and the OP. Maybe they could merge it with new hunting logs (as research paper collections?) by delivering monster samples/drops to a researcher, e.g. in the Cabinet of Curiosity, or to a researcher sent from Sharlayan?
When ARR was in beta, I tried suggesting on the forum for the beta that they implement a Libra/Scan thing like in FFX-2, not sure if they tried, but some of it ended up as a mobile app that they later removed...
