Hamlet Defense - Great Promise

Just finished rereading the latest Letter From the Producer and came away with this impression.....Hamlet Defense is poised to become a major component of this game. Yoshida is adding so much additional material exclusive to Hamlet Defense as to almost make it a game within itself We will be seeing the following:

1. New Gathering points devoted to Hamlet Defense
2. New content solely devoted to defense and replenishment
3. New UI devoted solely to Hamlet Defense

We all know that SE only gives the barest of outlines for what is actually going to happen. Probably a lot more then what has been given to us.

May be just me but it appears that the Dev Team want to make Hamlet Defense a central part of the game catering to solo players or player with a short amount of play time available. If it lives up to its promise this can truely add to the enjoyment of the game for all. Hope I am not misreading this

Hamlet Defense= 1.22 everything else is a Bonus :P

and I'm sure Hamlets will be Scattered all over Eorzea.. making alot of people Migrate to the Hamlets ( which I believe there are 8 Hamlets in total ( not counting if they plan for cities to be part of the Hamlets).

Can't wait for Hamlet myself lol

I am excited for Hamlet Defense even though we really know very little about it. An openworld event designed for all classes and not limited to a party of 8 sounds good to me!

Let's decide the fate of the hamlets, no one save silver bazaar! Is Hystmill or Quarrymill better?!

I don't remember, but one of them seems to be more of a pain in the butt to get to than the other :p

i hope hamlet defense is awesome (more like campaign) and not like garrison in FFXI. like this if you remember Garrison *shudder*

I'm trying to remain pretty low with expectations for hamlet, to be honest.

As am I. But the time they have invested into it lifts my spirits lol. I am looking forward to this.
