So.. i got booted from The Copied Factory for Using a limit break. of all things!
Had someone scream at me in the party because I used a limit break on a boss
Didn't think much of it because we survived most of the mechanics, it did some damage and that's how most of he other raids I've been in did.
then barely anybody stood in the second wave of circles everyone died. something i didn't foresee.
Had this guy constantly complain the wipe was all my fault. despite team C healers surviving. telling everyone I was a troll who already had he gear.
Managed to defeat the boss. but i guess he didn't like me to the point he had me kicked during the last boss.
so that was a nice hour wasted. so Just warning you guys that's there's a few toxic people running these raids.
It does end happily however the group i ran with next not only sped through the raid but I managed to win somehow!
Really? over a limmit break? (short rant/sttory)

Feel for you fam. I'm just happy to see DPS use a LB AT ALL in dungeons/raids. The amount of LBs left unused on a daily basis is laughable, and then you get the idiot casters that burn it when there is a melee in the group on single target fights... and THEN there are DPS that don't even know how to LB or where to find the ability button for it... I just assume all DPS are stupid until proven otherwise (I main as tank, offspec as heals).

As an AST who has been babysitting these raids for about 15 or so runs, sometimes almost single handedly carrying these raids from start to finish, screw them.
No one needs Healer LB3 in this raid. If they "need" it, they're unreasonably bad. I've used it a few times, but if I didn't have it I would have put up without it. Like I have. Many times. -

well, if you really need healer LB3 in alliance raid, your party is pretty bad then... .-.
but for harassed for using LB3 on boss (and get kicked because of it) you always could report harassment and move on (provided that you have evidence of it at least in the chat)... -

As you say, my fellow damage dealers often don't do Limit Break, so I let it loose. Better let the Red Mage do it then nobody is what I think, but as said, that timeframe is comparibly short. So either way, you might think about "that stupid RDM did it"; but after all, you'd have said: "None of the DPS did it!".
Which of those two bad situations above you want to choose for me?

In fairness, there's usually no more advantage to using the LB at 30% than there is at 5% for the 24-man raid fights. It's fine to wait until the fight is almost over before using it, so long as you get the full damage out of it. That way, if your group is bad, or undergeared (especially likely when the fight is less than two weeks old), the healer LB3 will be there if you need it.
I don't think it's worth kicking anyone over, but using the LB as soon as it is up isn't going to earn you a second LB before the fight is over, and that's the main reason to use it early.
And let's not forget about the bonehead DPS who use LB3 when five party members are dead. Or the bonehead healers who DON'T. But that's a separate topic. :P
