So ready for that contest winning Cyber-Ninja outfit to be released into the game for 5.1?

It will be Universal use so any Job can equip it.

From the pictures it looks like the armor will be only for male characters. They should showed a picture of a Viera wearing the armor.

Exactly this. And it's going right on a glamour plate when I get it. Yoshi insisted on being hush hush on where it'll be dropping but if it's like the previous set it'll possibly drop in the new dungeons. The next design winner, for ranged dps will either drop from token exchange raid gear or it'll be in dungeons too. For the previous healer and tank winner I think tank came out first and it was from the alpha scape? And the healer and magic caster gear were from dungeons. Looking back there were some really awesome runner up designs. Kinda wish they had more staff so they could implement the 3 winners for each category, instead of just the 1 winner.

Watch it be from next level 80 dungeon like how the bonewicca set was. Could also be from new Diadem coming out to make ones go into it. Could also be new gold saucer item.

I hope not. It's a Nier raid so it should be dropping Nier gear, not MGS.

I suspect it's going to be the upcoming PvP vendor gear.

For gear, and glamours, I wish they'd add something that does what the Mogit addon does in WoW.
It makes ALL gear in the game available for viewing and trial dressing, and tells you where to get it. You can also save the outfits to use as shopping lists while you go out and collect it all.

This needs to be built-in. All the appearances are in the client already, why not let us see them.

Currently, I have no idea what's available, let alone where / how to get them.

Similar, maybe, but "kind of" isn't good enough. The YoRHa armour's design still has very distinctive elements that make it what it is. Besides the cyber-catsuit baseline, the two look nothing alike, you can't mistake them. And in terms of tank gear (which I'd assume HA would end up as, if it gets added) it's worlds apart from the bulky Robocop-ish coat we saw a preview of.

Honestly looks pretty good, I was worried about how they would translate the design and take unnecessary artistic liberties (like with the bonewicca set) but this looks nice, can't wait to see how the ranged winner will look in game.

Honestly, I hope they give it to NieR Raid (Which, if we're not looking at any game beside Automata, there won't be a lot of gear anyways, but my wife def wants a Papa Nier Tank Set), ONLY because it's the debut of Xaela Map. and not having some form of Xaelic Gear to go with it is one thing, but making the set some Scaevan/LoAllagan/Alex/etc Re-Do feels bad. Personally, I'm not a fan of the set, but I know others are, so I won't shit all over it, I'm just hoping we get Mongol Gear for the Mongol Map, ft an in-game race who's entire culture is PvP

Willing to bet this will either be through PVP or MGP. Especially considering the new dungeon uses a different set.

Doesn't make any sense otherwise since Yorha should have outfits relating to it if it's going to follow the trend of Ivalice.

Almost certainly the new PvP sets.

The dungeon set has already been revealed and it isn't especially Nier-y, maybe if you squint a bit, but I expect we'll get something more explicitly Nier from the raid.

I know what I want and that is MCH/BRD/DNC set because it is the closest thing to a Crysis Nanosuit for "Maximum Armor"
