I myself find it kinda stupid. They made this one mode that everyone likes, but then they limit you to play it only every third day. If the problem is that everyone likes to play shatter, then maybe you should try to make the other game modes better, rather than limiting what people can play. Seems like another lazy fix to a "problem". Let me play what I want, I don't like seal rock so my enjoyment of frontlines is greatly reduced every third day.

because all 3 modes have unique rewards tied to them, with the secure & seize ones practically impossible to get before the roulette with daily rotation was added.
Also there are probably just as many, if not more, players that hate shatter the most because of the way too strong focus on player vs ice. -

i would never have finished 100 seal rock wins for the full field commander set if the daily frontline roulette wasn't implemented. also people get tired of just shatter, over and over again.

If they had it free range your q's would be so out of whack. The rotation allows all modes to be played and filled to some type of degree and lets achievement hunters get their counts for the mount and glam. Can also speak on me working for my Seal Rock wins if they didn't have this I'd be left out to dry.
