I don't mind running them but I do browse my phone whilst waiting and feel guilty if I miss the party carrying on. A simple sound effect would get my attention to continue :)

INB4 everyone tells you to not do the MSQ roulette if you don't want to deal with cutscenes. :)
I agree, after watching the cutscenes over 100 times i tend to alt tab or go on my phone then keep checking back to see if the cutscene has ended. A sound at the end would ensure i don't miss it.
The sound works when you are queueing for something and are alt tabbed, i havn't missed a pop yet, one for the cutscenes would work just as well.
Buy 2nd monitor, now you don't have to cover up game, now you don't have issues. Plus having a second monitor is amazing, and you'll never go back. Win win.
Plus, the sound effect would get irritating. If you can't look up from your phone every few seconds then that's not a game issue. Plus, if you've run it so many times you should know how long the cutscenes are and when to go back to the game :p
I did 12 MSQ Dungeons with CID since yesterday. I am death inside.
Other than that, you get a feeling for it when it is time to go back into the game ^^
I honestly recognize most of the sound queues at this point to know when to put my book down and look up for the minute or so it takes to kill the next boss.
There is one, though. There's usually some kinda woosh effect. Like BWAKAAAAH.
Just do whatever you do and only teleport/help at boss fights.
Those who are against/report CS skipping don't mind waiting, staring at a screen so they wouldn't mind clearing the trash and stuff either.
You can't tell the cutscene has ended when it's sound stops, and the normal game sounds resume?
I could swear there is one already. I often hear the sound from the duty finder popping after every cut-scene. I didn't see any messages in chat, so i assume it was the game doing it. But i guess it's possible it was a player? Dunno.
I do run the game in windowed. Try it.
I also have a faint recollection that there might've been an option i turned on to make duty finder popup sounds when the game is tabbed.
It seems like a thing that mod could do.
I dunno, it seems like that might be a little disruptive and jarring to how the cutscene segues into gameplay again.
Usually you should hear your party attacking. Unless they've got sticks up their butts, they shouldn't care if you take a second or two to get going once you hear them attacking.
