I would prefer different Lb3 Animations to chose, at least 1 for each job instead Lb1 and Lb2, which is "useless" and you cast usually in Dungeons.
I would prefer this too. That being said, LB1 and LB2 aren't unused outside of dungeons. If you use LB3 soon enough in many fights on-content you can get another LB2 or LB1 in the fight. It's the healer and tank ones that are literally useless and I wish had more use personally.
When tanks say LB, and I opt not to because my upcoming Technical Step window is basically a better, prettier much stronger LB all in its own right..
I don't like LB3 though. LB1/2 looks cool, but yeah they suck in damage.
They need to redo the limit break system. I honestly would love it if limit break was a personal bar instead of a team thing. Its dmg could be reduced to match the fact that potentially 4 to 8 people could have it depending on the content. Then limit breaks could be by class and tailored for said class while still keeping some of the utilities of current limit break.
I would love it if they would consider updating the concept of the limit breaks to be individual rather than group-wide, and also provide each job their own version of said limit break.
The problem is, they would potentially cause problems with older content, which were designed for the current Limit Break system, and then they would need to change their encounter design (which, as we've been shown, much like Y'Shtola running from her "troubles," they're not wont to do).
Sadly, I think the closest thing we'll get to personalized limit breaks is the Adrenaline system in PVP.
Would love to have more visual options for limit breaks. Maybe Monk could get Tifa's Somersault as LB1, FFXI's Raging or Asuran Fists as LB2 and keep Final Heaven as the LB3, but also open the options to earn new LB3 animations through quests.

Unique LB2 would be nice even if they keep the generic LB1.
BRD used to have a healer LB instead of DPS, which was amusing. It would be interesting for them to go back to something like this.
Something more useful would be to give each job additional effects to their LB in line with the theme of the rest of the job, along with the base damage. DRG LB1/2 could give a crit rate up effect, NIN could cause the target to take 20% additional damage, BRD could reduce the party's GCD by .25s, MNK increase damage dealt by 5%, etc. Something beneficial to the user and party so that the person having to stand still for ~6 seconds isn't as punished as they currently are.
I love it when people say this. I absolutely ADORE that the WHM kneels and locks herself in prayer. Even if you don't care much for the animation, it is a huge call back as the staff that is summoned looks a lot like the one that belongs to Aerith from FFVII (not sure if it has ever been confirmed, but this is basically the Buster Sword for healers). Those "dumb" feathers are extremely symbolic playing a massive aesthetic role with FF's healers and female protagonists.
WHM LB3 was the only animation that gave me goosebumps when I slowed it down. To me, it's most beautiful LB in the game.

The Limit Break System should get redesigned into a combination of individual limit breaks for each class and special team beased overdrive/ burst limit breakers which work like now,
Individual LBs should increase by dealing damage n receive damage on a faster face than the burst limit breaker, but therefore are weaker, but still considerable more powerful than just normal attack skills

Whitemage:
LB1: White Wind > Heals all Members to full health and protects Allies against negative conditions for 2 minutes.
LB2: Holy Punishment > Deals Damage to all Enemies on Screen and causes a burning DoT to those that still live after this.
LB3: Sacred Rebirth > The next Ally you revive gets revived with full health instantly at your position and is for 2 minutes invinceable
LB4: Radiant Luminescence > Deals massive Damage to all enemies in line of sight in front of you
Astrologist
LB1: House of Cards > Buffs all Allies with Card Buffs, both Aspects, Perfect Divination and shared Light Speed for 1 Minute
LB2: Shooting Star Rain > Deals Damage over Time to all enimies in your Ground Target.
LB3: Ascending Heroism > Revives all dead allies instantly without Weakness with 50% Health, increased Damage n Defense for 30s and protected from CC effects like launches n pulls.
LB4: Vision of Transcendence > Look into the future like a true Visionary, granting yourself and nearby allies Health Barriers and Skills cost no MP and are instant casts for a while.
Scholar
LB1: Fairy Circle > Summon a Circle of Fairies to each ally 1, which supports each ally for some time with heals n attacks, whenever skills are usedd by players.
LB2: Seraphic Wings > Deals significant damage over time to a single target and heals nearby allies for the dealt damage at the end
LB3: Fairy Shell > Creates a mighty Fairy Magic Barrier Field, that absorbs incoming damage, making the group temporarely invinceable inside the shell, except for Wipe Attacks and transforms damage to life energy that can bring back dead under the shell back to life, if enough damage gets absorbed.
LB4: Knowledge Is Might > Turns for you and nearby Allies all Attacks for 30s into guaranteed direct critical hit and gain self a buff that in this time cost skills no Ether Charges for you and Ether Skills recharge alot faster.
Just some healer examples
I rather the time be put into different types, single and aoe for all classes. So as a MCH I can single or line aoe etc etc
I would prefer if it was exactly like aeriths but make it great gospel.
I would love great gospel with the rain (in ac). since sch has seraph in their lb, remove the angels and maybe have flowers blooming or something from the rain.
you can barely tell the reference because the feathers are so bright and blocking the player. :/ (I'm a huge aerith fan so lol!)
that said, I'd like personal lbs myself.
Its rare to see healers use theirs to begin with.
