question with this black rose freeze aether does this also mean it effect the Ascian to. they complete compose of aether so if they hit the would also frozen aswell. if I know not better seem Zeno save the ascian as well as help prevent the the eight umbras for happening stranger that he did this

In theory, Black Rose could have a detrimental effect on Ascians, sure. However, the Ascians weren't ignorant of how Black Rose worked for one thing. Secondly, they'd be fools to have deployed it anywhere within their own proximity. Elidibus probably would have been on Garlemald while the gas ravaged Eorzea. We know from today's story that the Garleans weren't directly affected by the gas, rather they ended up suffering because the gas messed things up so much that it threw the aether on the Source out of whack, which made it essentially impossible to use things such as ceruleum as fuel for the magitek Garleans depended on to thrive as they had. This wouldn't have concerned the Ascians at all, of course. Barring that, they aren't bound to the source either. They could just warp to the moon or somewhere else safer and wait for the fallout to pass.

if you gas enough it become an airborne to effect everyone if would amusing me if emperor turn on the ascian in turn sound like something he would doing out his hatred for them, he gain victory by human mean but cost to great for his empire to suffer. in theory effect everyone who could weild magic

Keep in mind that the only Ascian that seems to be on Eorzea at this point in time is Elidibus. The rest are hiding out in that Void place.

Furthermore, Elidibus put himself into the body of the second most influential person in Eorzea and had to repeatedly pressure Varis to even get him to use Black Rose in the first place. If Black Rose was used, Elidibus would know full well when the time to get out of dodge would be better than pretty much anyone.

He's just the final "original" one. they still have quite a few members left.

Note that as of that point in that timeline, Emet-Selch would presumably still be alive. It's possible Elidibus was dead, though, since it sort of appears that the WoL taking out Zenos may have been the tipping point towards releasing the Black Rose, if the opening cinematic is anything to go by.

The last unsundered. Assuming they weren't offed offscreen like the Ascians killed by Galuf and Co. or the Warriors of Darkness, we should still have Pashtarot, Fandaniel, Halmarut, Deudalaphon, and Altima to contend with. Travanchet from 1.0 as well, assuming he's not one of the previously mentioned characters.

And, while I really wouldn't be a fan of it, Lahabrea possibly coming back in light of new revelations about the unsundered might be the on the table. This game does seem to have a habit of having certain characters that appear dead popping back up.

Emet-Selch mentions in a bit of rather easily missable dialogue that while there are several sundered Ascians left, they're evidently dependent enough on the unsundered for direction that their order would presumably collapse and eventually fade away if all of the unsundered were eliminated.

I feel like settling matters with Garlemald/Zenos and eliminating Elidibus will likely spell the end of the current story arc, but the unsundered Ascians will continue to cause problems in the future. A lot of them seem to just like sowing discord just because, not to actually push towards a greater goal; Shisui of Violet Tides being an example of one of their "petty" incidents.

I don't Lahabrea can come back he is dead he was absorb into the eye of Nidhogg that was his end. I wonder if unsundered would cause power struggle amoung the sundered ascains for leadership

I didn't think the end between Zordark would be decide like any evil being he would still be out there no long able use the ascians he would turn his eye to temped mortal into service him

through Zenos could absorb some Lahabrea into himself or most of him into himself that remain to be seen. lahabrea and Zenos could be trap in Zenos body that would interesting twist of events
