While I personally haven't experienced this much, some talk about it happening a lot, especially Castrum Meridianum (apparently to re-queue for the "better" one).
I propose a simple solution: If you abandon a roulette, you can't get your roulette bonus that day.

Technically that's already there. I think if you leave from a duty 3 times, you forfeit your right to go into DF for the rest of the day. I think that also applies to withdrawing from the commencement screen.
They could do this: 30m > 60m > 90m. -

Ones leave because its end exp. bonus is same as running normal dungeon your level but with out being forced to watch cutscenes. Maybe they should up end exp. bonus to 2 times what it is. then it only be half times lower than the other that takes 5 minutes longer to complete. If your going to complain about ones leaving don't run it. I run it everyday and never have problem with ones leaving. We just keep on going till spot fills.

Or simple solution, make both give the same amount of exp, but lett praetorium give and dxtra high bonus on gil or random ARR material/ leveling boosters for crafting to help crafters catching up to shadowbringers niveau.
Fact is, people want praetorium only, because it gives way more exp and helps to level up quicker.
Would give both give same exp, would these people not leave.
People, especially tanks n healers leave also just because they helped dps friends to get faster into the instance, because wait times for dps can be really ridiculous at timem while can can be in within like 5 minutes, if just a tank or healer frind that gives a shit about the penalty just quickly ferry's you in and leaves when the job's done, what they likely can do, if they have done all roulettes, to help this way others to get theirs done quicker too every 30 mins.
See it as a social way of playing the game to literally abuse this way the system xD -

Today first thing 2 drops out and take 10 minutes to get 2 replacements. So right at the start down 2 dps. They need to fix end bonus to about the same as the other one.

Forte, you are wrong, praetorium gives alot more exp, yes, the exp of killed trash mobs is eventually similar, but that at the very end differs by alot based on your characters level.
Made today castrum as Lvl 77 Astrologist, got at the end like 9 Million Exp, would I have done Praetorium instead, then my exp most likely would have received rather a whopping boost of around 14-15 Million Exp.
If you make daily always Praetorium, you will reach Lvl 80 due to this significantly faster, than a player who did in theory always Castrum with Livia.
A friend of mine is also always very unhappe if he doesnt get Praetorium, exactly because of the big exp difference at the end., because the exp for prae is in relation to that of castrom for the spebt time just better, and half of the way is just runhing in a mech and looking scenes of alot of talk, which is mostly only why prae takes more time, not because it is more difficult than castrum xD -

Last time ran Praetorium it took 35 minutes to complete. Longest have ever seen run in it is 45 minutes. Other one takes 25 to 30 minutes to complete. Know because when last time timed Praetorium I had 25 minutes out of hour left on my food buff that did right at the start of it.

There's no escalation beyond a 30 minute lockout. Nobody gets locked out for an entire day, that'd be a bit harsh even for SE.
