SMN got buff while RDM being forgotten, same story for NIN and DNC
MCH still waiting some CD adjustment so the buff and skill would aligned more perfectly.
Let’s hope for 5.1

I would like to point out that SMN wasn’t buffed they just removed fester ruin and gave ruin flat potency that we originally got from dots and also this is just prelim changes and 5.1 will be greater changes.
Ugh, it's Stormblood all over again. See you all in Patch 5.4 when Red Mage finally gets buffed.
This feels like a step in the right direction for SMN, fester ruins were punishing especially with how dots are aligned currently. Its something that has come up more than a few times in suggested changes so it seems as if they are listening.
I'm not seeing how people think that summoner change is a buff. You still have to keep dots up as much as possible. Summoner neither gained nor lost DPS with its change.
It does mean that if you're a few seconds away from Tri-Disaster being available again, and or DoTs fall off and you don't realise, your Ruin potency isn't severely diminished on top of missing out on the DoT damage.
It may be more of a benefit for average players than top-level ones, but it's a benefit nevertheless. I'm sure they intended it to be encouragement to keep DoTs up but instead it's punishment if you forget.
Didnt know Housing for spriggan and twin was going up live today lol.
So NIN gained around 10% more potency on their combo skills (Except for Shadow Fang which got a beefy 40% boost to its DoT portion) and Bunshin's damage went up by about 33%.
I think that should easily makes them competitive again.
NIN should be a lot more tolerable to play now, at least.

Yeah, I feel pretty bad for Physical Ranged dps classes right now. I was leveling a BRD too. xD
BLM isn't going anywhere, BLM brings it's stupid high rdps alongside 1% role buff which ninja cant come close to topple, even MNK can't. 1% of a group doing 80k is 800 free rdps just for existing. chill out BLM is still a god, every other ranged/caster is pretty dumpster now though
no one does trpile melee parties because mechanics usualy are harder whit more melees around and you get less bonus stats for odd party composition, if you bring 1 tank 1 healer 1 melee 1 phisical ranged and 1 caster you get a 5% stat boost
so if ninja will remove something is other melee

I hope that refers to the pull before the second boss, don't know about everyone else but to me that part is physically painful to look at.
Why consider... i mean the number pretty much say 2BLM is better than 1% buff... just bring them...

Did they just forget the ranged dps and rdm? And sam is still behind monk, while offering 0 raidbuffs.
