I Just finish the healer’s story line in Shadowbringers…

So there is plenty hints of more than friendship between “derp Ardbert lander” and Lamitt… which other quest than center, or mention “love” did you remember and like?

The WAR stormblood job quests (60-70), for example, were quite hilarious.

The hijinks between the gladiator guildmaster and her love interest, continued in the level 80 job quest for pld.

There got to be something between Beatin and Gairhard, right?

That Lala/Dwarf is pervert, i could feel the deepest desires in her eyes when facing Ardbert, he was too much for her to handle.

Anyway, being serious now, i felt sorry for her because she didn't got a chance to tell him her feelings, not that i've seen.

Now that love story about WAR Lv80 Quest made me laugh hard, i was going to be violented by a misunderstanding D:

I've only really played WAR and SCH up to 80/70, respectively. Both have love stories in their Stormblood questlines. Alka Zolka and Setoto in the SCH questline is especially cute to me. Hopefully she gets cured soon.

Everyone knows that Twilight wasn't really a love story...

I remember the jokes and memes about "Arbert" and "Lamimi" when the first lorebook came out and blandly mentioned how Lamimi had "lust for Arbert's loins".

At that point I figure it's partly that Lamitt loved Ardbert, but also partly that she's rather thirsty.

More seriously, there's the very obvious crush-turned-love of Alka Zolka and Setoto in the SCH questlines. There's also the tragic love between Severian and W'nahja in the ALC 1-50 questline, the love-turned-rivalry between Melkoko and H'mhasi in the CUL 50-60 questline, the proving-my-love between Raulf and Anzu in the CUL 60-70 questline, and Sekka's one-sided declaration (to her father's consternation) of love to Brithael in the BSM 60-70 questline.

Come to think of it, there's a lot of romance in the crafting questlines.

There's romance and then there's Merlwyb shooting people to test the strength of your armor...

(Speaking of that, the romance between her and Eynzahr, her right hand man, is super subtle but very sweet.)

No, we don't go again, i literally said right in the next line:

Don't forget Magnai and his eternal quest to find his 'Moon'. ;) Not including Y'shtola's epic rebuttal to his pick-up-line, I still think Sadu is his 'Nhamma' (she worships the Moon Goddess, has dark skin and a dark personality to match, is his equal in combat while also being his complete opposite (he's pure melee, she's a mage), and the fact they always keep getting in each other's way it's like they can't stand each other but want each other so badly as well. :P Ah well, love hurts I guess.

Also his right hand man whose name I can't remember I swear has a crush on Hien as he keeps 'claiming' him whenever they meet. ;)

I thought of them but didn't mention it cus its not questline-based. Unless you count the Valentione's quest back in 2014(???) that had Rhoswen "confess" to him but Carvallain remaining (or faking?) oblivious to it. They are fun, though. :) Wish we'd get another set of postmoogle quests or something and see some development there.

They were?! How'd I miss that? Were they in Costa? Did they have chat bubbles or anything???

Yes, on event island. They had speech bubbles, but I do not really remember. One of them said something about the other scaring fishes.

I checked. Everyone had chat bubbles. And given the Rising's trash placement, one could infer they got their fish, vouchers and dumped their trash on the beach.

Hmm I thought that was obvious since Heavensward? o.O

I'm not sure if it was both ways though but Lamitt is totally head over heels in love with Ardbert

with that said... i kinda wish I could check up on the couple that eloped from Ishgard. I can't find them in Iddlyshire anymore

Moonfire cameo aside, they're not from "a questline" but tend to arc through an assortment of them. CUL 55 is a highlight.

I also recall a sidequest in Limsa Lominsa (I don't remember what started it, but I know it involves the two Miqo'te guides/undercover Yellowjackets at the elevator landing) where two Lominsans were trying to figure out the "best type of woman", then Rhoswen gets involved, and Carvallain was the one who got her uninvolved, with plenty of implied romantic tension.

And in the Merlwyb-focused Tales From The Calamity, there was mention that Carvallain was the one who rescued Rhoswen when she charged recklessly into the enemy during a retreat.

Whatever happened to that Garlean guard that had a crush on Tataru? I mean it was pretty funny side dialog since it was lead to believe the guard was referring to Minfilia....

Probably killed in Operation Archon as he never even got named. Or else Wedge got to him first. ;)

I'm glad someone else remembers that. If you didn't talk to the Triple Triad Garlean NPC, I think it's your first real insight on them being actual people beneath those pot helms.

There was the big where we stole the magitek armour from a group of soldiers on patrol, not sure if it was before or after, but you could talk to them there while you were in disguise and they're all just normal people that chat to you.
