Bring Signet Back~! /A Matter of Seals/

So how many of you like the new way of getting seals....numb grinding scorts, numb grinding NMs hunt, odd dungeons raids. Why not make like in XI, sorry, yes I bring XI back to light because, do you remember Conquest Points and the like.

Why not bring those back we get so much exp and no merits atleast make them into something, maybe 100k exp is 100 seals, I dont care but give us a way to get seals for something we wanna do and we can benefit, not stuff that have to be done just for the sake of the seals

Signet really sucked if you weren't from the dominant faction.

Well something could be done like, give double the seals if you are in the Twin Adder and you are killing stuff in The Black Shroud and the like for the other two while Coerthas and Mor Dhona are neutral, would that fix it for you? That would even make people go visit the other cities xD

but i stand by what i said then

we dont need more copy pasted bs from 11, the system as a whole isnt needed as we already have stuff here which provides us with the points we need for factions/companies etc etc

To make it better, it was a Rokien thread.

XIV seems to have a trend of having less hassle and more action than XI so I don't see something as retarded as signet fitting in well here. Signet is designed to slow you down and eat your time up by making you run back to town. XIV has better ways to solve the same problems that are more fun.

if its his idea its definately doomed

so instead of grinding leves and chocobo escorts, you want to just grind regular mobs.

I don't see any difference here.

Everyone likes to be handed everything they want these days, no earning involved. 'Signet is a pain to get when your not in a zone run by your nation' wah! Give me a break. Go play secondlife!

Did someone really just suggest less content? Thank god seals get their own quests and activities.

How about FFXIV (and you) come up with original ideas that actually fit into the game, instead of copy-pasting more s**t from FFXI or previous FF titles that don't mesh well with what already exists?

I'm in agreement with this! SO are my tons of friends on the game! though they don't read the forums.

Also Lavinia don't let these trolls get to ya, trust me, they are like almost, my personal troll, always following me around (unless its a popular idea) they always say what I say is bad. Sooo, goo figure.

I was kind of expecting the Cutter's Cry and Aurum Vale quests to have been issued by the Grand Companies and with company seals as rewards. Instead they became regular sidequests. Conversly, we also saw new seal-sinks introduced.

If there were new seal-generating quests in 1.21, I doubt anyone would be even remotely complaining right now. So I'm going to give it some time.

You know, a lot of the concepts in XI were pretty good. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if this game were just a copy/paste of XI (with better graphics). On the subject of a Signet-type system, though, I believe they've done a fairly good job of replacing it. Unless they made it as a supplementary system to what's already been applied, I wouldn't want Signet back. That being said, it would be nice to see some sort of increase in company seal rewards, as they feel incredibly small for all the work we usually have to do for them. Earning only 70 seals for 15 minutes of guarding an npc seems pretty pathetic.
