I tryed Moogle with Monk and is impossible for me to do any DPS with combos... Altough I can chase with Shoulder Tackle. Anybody tried and would be willing to say how it went?

It's possible, PGL was able to do great in that fight before and MNK is much better DD than PGL. If you are new to the fight you probably just have to get more practice because of how hate bounces around while you are trying to burn them down. Try spacing out your Weaponskills a little so you can be sure they are facing a certain way or throwing a Taunt to force them to face in your direction and make it easier for you to combo.
i do moogle with monk every time. It's not so difficult, combo can be a bit tricky, but with enough pratice you'll do it.
Also, keep fists of wind always up, with sucker punch and ballad you'll always have enough mp
Remember taunt + feather foot + hay maker. Make the moogles come to you, evade, stun, BEAT DOWN. Also helps is someone puts heavy on the moogle or do it yourself with Leaden arrow.

We just did moogle a couple days ago with 3 MNK, 1 WAR, 2 BRD, 2 WHM. Took a few tries but it's certainly doable. With the changes to debuff resistance, you really can't rely on the bind everything with archers trick anymore. If it comes down to it, MNK can kite a group of the moogles with Fists of Wind very easily.
With MNK you can actually kill the Gladiator moogle earlier in the fight and take a major thorn out of your side. We had 2 MNK in a group I was with, no THM/BLM, and we killed the GLA moogle 3rd after the BRD and BLM. Run went without a hitch, it should be no problem if you bring along 2 mnk, 2 blm, or 1 blm 1 mnk.

Mnk is fine in Moogle, I do much better now than I did previously.
We have some members in our LS who are newer to the game and have limited jobs available. We altered our strat so we now have 2 monks who dps Whiskerwall after Shaggysong is downed (Avoiding him maximoogling Whiskerwall), while the rest of our DD maintain usual kill order. This way they can focus dps on a target which is a lot more stationary than when competing with BRD/ARC, also you don't have the issue of Whiskerwall running about because of the new CC limitations. They usually down Whisker in time to help with last 3 moogles or so. Have done this with normal setup ie 2 WHM, PLD, 2 BRD, ARC, 2 MNK and downed in about 13 mins, so you don't lose too much time.

The nice thing about having MNK for Whiskerwall is that they usually take hate in the first phase and hold it over until the second phase, so he comes to them and stays there. I'm tempted to try to kill Whiskerwall second when my LS gets around to fighting moogles again, Shaggysong should probably always be first because of how much of a pain the giant moogles are.
This has become a very easy fight with melee and Mnk if you pay attention. We had a War tank and Mnk use BS Howling Fist when Collusion-ed, which gave War hate on Gld for a large chunk of the fight. With our now melee set up full of hard hitters, we did Blm > Brd > Thf > Rng > Mrd > Whm > and straight tanked king. We'd kill Gld basically whenever he fell off tank, and he would die very easy. The King will do a lot of spins since he has all the moogle abilities, but you simply have Brd and two whm rotate Sacred-Stoneskin and watch for flare. Howling fist does a very noticeable amount to the king. At least 3-5% falls off his bar. If you have everyone who knows this fight it goes very smooth. Our first time we seriously tried this, not a single person fell blow half HP.

MNK with Fists of Wind is very effective in Moogle. There is, however, a learning curve to it. It takes practice to figure out the movement patterns of the moogles and to compensate for server lag. With practice you can increase how often you land combos and thus increase your DPS by a significant amount. Not to mention MNK AA alone is very damaging, especially versus the GLA and WAR moogles.
Just did it last night with 2 whm, a pld and 5 mnks. It was a lot of fun I must say.
I did moogle last night with all classes, except dragoon, and the fight went fine. We downed all the moogles before king summon and second phase went without no major issues. Having a warrior to grab moogles from the kite train helps and having the people put heavy the moogles greatly help the melee do some damage.
This was a fresh moogle group too. I went to help them kill the NMs and figured we would try a few runs to teach them the fight.
We did Moogle primal the other day with PLD, WAR x2, MNK x2, WHM x2, BRD. The fight from start to finish was very easy. Fists of Fire destroys the GLA moogle and MNK DPS in general is very high.
Recorded a fight a little while ago with 1 War, 3 Mnk, 1 Blm, 1 Brd, 2 Whm. It goes pretty smoothly and they die fast.

I found with this strat if you are going pld tank especially, the tank should try and hit the moogles first to gain hate for some reason, otherwise hate in the second phase can jump all over the place.
