I love play ninja. But, I don't like Ninjutsu, they are many icons on hotbars
I don't have good brain.
Ago person helpped me make marco. But, she don't main ninja.
Like I tried make

/wait 0.5
/action jin
/wait 0.5
/action chi
/wait 0.5
/action ninjutsu
But, it's not 100% works. Happened me sometimes. I clicked Doto as I wanted aoe. But, maroc made it turn Raiton as wrong skill.
I feel 0.5. sec is too slow? Need make 0.2 or 0.3?
If you main ninja. Know better make marcos? Thanks.

Never macro Ninja. EVER. You can't macro half seconds, it rounds up to a full second. All you are doing is making Ninjutsu take way longer to cast than it should. Mudra/Ninjutsu should be cast within the global cooldown (~2.5 seconds) between your other abilities. Your macro is making the whole thing take about 4 seconds to cast a single Ninjutsu.
As for the reason it is casting Raiton instead, that's likely because the wait time is actually 1 rather than 0.5 and with the way it is set up, any delay due to ping may be skipping Jin altogether, casting Ten > Chi.
You really have to play Ninja properly for it to work. Macros won't fix it. -

If it helps, it's only the ending jitsu that matters.
Ten-chi-jin and chi-ten-jin will both produce the same thing.
If you keep at it, you'll have it down in no time. -

Honestly, consider a new class. I'd recommend Sam if you like melee.
I really liked the aesthetic of Ninja myself, the assassin type. But the gameplay is very different from what you expect from the assassin dps.
Nin doesn't get easier, it's one of the hardest dps to play. It has one of the lowest personal dps and you have to work hard even for that. In exchange you get a utility called Trick Attack that your party will expect you to land regularly, from the right position without forgetting it or missing. It's an easy job to mess up, you can clip, mess up mudra's, mess up Ten-Chi-Jin.
If you're the sort of player who finds a lot of buttons complex and likes to find shortcuts (which is fine), Nin isn't the class. -

This means that Huton, is right to left, and Suiton is left to right, while Doton, is ‘end in the middle’.
Technically as I use controller ‘Chi’ is at the bottom as well as the middle, so I can think of Doton as ‘down to the ground’.
Same for Raiton being ‘lighting strike the ground’. -

This crossed my mind. What if you bound 58 individual keys to map a specific action in the rotation? So rotation goes...

Which is a full 62 keys. You may need to invest in a Steel Battalion-like setup to add more keys to your control area so you can move your character around, but it will totally be worth it in the end. -

It may help for you to write the combinations down as other people have suggested, then take to a striking dummy and practice them until they've been committed to muscle memory. :) -

As a serious post, I second the "never macro Ninjutsu". It just messes things up, especially with the slightest lag.
I have my Ninjutsu arranged as:
Ctrl 1:Ten Ctrl 2:Chi Ctrl 3:Jin
Raiton is first button, then second (Ten + Chi) for single target. For multiple targets, I reverse it (Chi + Ten = Katon).
If I want to Suiton to TA, then it's all of them in order (Ten Chi Jin). Huton (haste) is the reverse (Jin Chi Ten).
And if I mess up the order, say first, last, then middle, I get the AoE DoT (Doton).
That's the way I've formed my muscle memory, and made sense to me.
With level 70 TCJ I literally go in that order: ten (shuriken) -> chi (lightning (raiton)) -> jin (Suiton for TA), followed by true north (because a spinning boss makes you hate your life) and trick attack.

Left to Right are Raiton and Suiton. Reverse the order for Katon and Huton. Doton just ends with the middle Mudra. What helped me was that I placed the mudras in such a way the combinations of them "kinda" matches visually with the Ninjutsu I wish to perform. It helped me remember them faster.
What I mean by that is that I placed the three mudras next to eachother and for my Doton I need to hit the outer mudra's first heading inwards, as if capturing something in a net or a field so to speak. For Katon I go from middle to the one out, like an explosion and for Raiton the opposite, from one side to the middle, like a pinpoint strike that the lighting from it is. For Hyuton (the speed up) I go from left to right, as if I'm go from gear one-two-three like in a car to go faster, for Suiton I do the opposite from right to left as if I'm slowing something down (aka, killing it!).
Anyway, I know this all sounds so stupid, but it's what worked for me to remember! Even if your memory is weak, it just means you need to practise (a lot?) more, but you will eventually get it. That being said... I have no idea of the names of the mudra's I hit, I just know their position on my keyboard, which is the entire reason I didn't bother telling the names of the mudras in my explanation, lol!
