Only one level 40 guildleve for leatherwork.

Even though my level is 42, and this is in Gridania. Anyone knows why?

There should be 3 or 4 that can pop as lv 40 leves in gridania, but since they can be lower level too they won't always appear in the 40 grouping. i think grid has one that is always 40 without variation. that, obviously, should always be available, beyond that its a roll of the dice as to which rank the others load into.

Yes leves for DoH/DoL are crap across the board, worse at higher levels, many of us have been asking for new leves for a while now and nothing has happened.

Hopefully in the next patch Hamlet Defence will be a decent alternative to leves.

There aren't always multiple levequest for each craft level. I think I remember there being only one 40 and 45 for alchemist in Ul'dah, back when I was leveling it. There's one 40 leatherworker levequest in each city, with Ul'dah being the only one that's actually 'local'.

Ya, i know, but for leather in gridania there are at least 3 that can pop up in the 40 rankings only one of which is guaranteed, soooo kthx. I didn't base my response on speculation, its what i've learned from doing it. each city varies, thats why you change towns for different leve situations. my response was for leather, in gridania.

There's also a 40 in Ul'dah (Showing some leg, i think) and a 40 and 45 in Limsa (Shoeing the shore and another one).

I'm struggling to see how you saw his post a direct reply to you. He didn't quote you or even mention your name or post lol.

Timeline and context of his post. He either only read the first post or doubted that there were multiples in this situation. Either way its been answered now, so it doesn't matter.

It has been an issue since well before release of XIV and, in spite of our wailing and gnashing of teeth, I suspect it will always be one. I've already resigned myself to the fact I will be 50 in every craft before this ever gets address properly, if at all.

Someone mentioned Hamlet Defense, and tbh i'm excited for this too, each day that passes i come closer to capping crafts before the release of it though.... i'm tryin to go slow and enjoy the crafting so i can actually make use of the new stuff instead of just participating for the fun of it.

I did get four level 40 guildleves when doing ARM and GSM.
