What did you name your Chocobo?

I named mine Samson after my late dad's dog who i spent a lot of time with when i was little when i went to visit him on weekends.

MuadDib (Muad'Dib, but the game didn't let me put the ' there). ...if anyone know's Dune and Paul Atreides...

Kelvin - the airships in FFX and FFX-2 are named Fahrenheit und Celsius and with FFX being my favorite FF I wanted to give my chocobo a name that has a connection to that game. Kelvin seemed like a good choice given the theme of naming "vehicels" after temperature scales!

(pssst... all our chocobos are male - Ishgard only sells male chocobos to make sure they keep their monopoly. Since the Grand Companies are buying the chocobos they give out from Ishgard all of them are male.)

Potato. Ah just though it was a funny name. Didn’ even know it was a lala slur. But now it fits even more.

I thought about the strange names race horses have (at least in the TV shows). I didn't wanted something ridiculous, just a name you would give a typical race horse.

I ended up with "Staubteufel".

Yes, I am german so it's a german name. It means "Dust Devil".

- Velos (ie. speed - shortly before discovering the less-than-impressive default pace...)

- Chico (sounded cute)

- Dreamer (was struggling to think of something, and it popped into my head)

- Otori (Japanese for my Raen character... supposed to be "Big Bird" - yes, the Muppet - though translation may be wonky. Sounded good anyway.)

Princessluna obviously. ;) I mean, considering the name of the chocobo quest, it would be herecy to not name your Chocobo after an MLP character...

I think you can rename you Chobo in the Stables

I name the one on my alt Seto..

I called mine Siegfried. No idea why. I must have been playing Soul Calibur at the time or something. I call it Siggy for short. XD

Chai, cus I was in to tea at the time and it sounded good.

I am thinking of changing it to Nori or Noraxia, though. Cus I recently rewatched some ARR cutscenes and realized I had completely forgotten about Noraxia entirely and I actually feel a little horrible about it. (In my defense, I did that part of ARR over 5 years ago, but still.)

I got lazy and named mine Chocobro. When I took part in a Hunt Train a couple weeks ago I came across someone who named their Brocobo.

So when he leaves people around me see "Battle withdraws from battle."

I named mine Bach, you would know why.
