CUL Desynthesis 340+

Hi Lalas!

I have a problem! A very big problem!
Im stuck. With my CUL Desythesis Level at Lv340. I cant find any reasonable fish to go for. All are fishies like "1 catch per hour; if you are Lucky!"
The lowest fishies from SB are Lv390. Too high for my LaLa340.
The Usuginu Octopus (Lv320) dont do it anymore. 0,1%/desynth. This one you can go for till Lv340 by like 50 catches/hour (w/ Identical cast + Double Hook).

Sinbce i write a post; how high i have to come for have more than 0% for the Lv390 fishies. Idk if i have 1% or 5% chance. I only want to leave Heavens Ward with my CUL desynth! D:!

I can see the answers right in front of my inner eye:
"forget CUL desynth. Go for something else but CUL (and ALC)!"

A friend recently leveled it and said at that level he could just use ShB fish with Tinker's Calm and Bacon Broth.

Having said that, SE said in the recent live letter that they're planning to change desynth so that it doesn't need to be leveled.

So i can keep going with the octopus but used food to boost it, till i hit the level i need for join SB D:

Anyway. I never read the live letter. Looks like i waste my time by leveling my desynthesis skill ;_;!
Why SE wants to change it? It is good like it is!

Use Usuginu Octopus till around 345 (gather yourself, use retainer(s), or buy a stack off the MB), then stack buff with HQ Tinker Calm (medicine buff/pot) and HQ Bacon Broth (food buff) on the 390 ShB trash fish.
I have one of my retainer's as a Fisher, so had her gather the Octopus for a few days till I had around 80-ish of them, then melted them to 345 (had started at around 320 or so).
I had tons of ShB trash fish from doing the Leves I saved, and started on those after using the Tinker Calm and Bacon Broth.
Yeah, my success rate was way low at 345 buffed (like was under 12% or so), but after 20 or so successes, I was breaking into the 50% success rate while buffed.
Took around 15~20 minutes of desynth, after I had everything gathered/ready to go, and that took me to 429.

Or, Option B: Just forget about it because desynth leveling is going away in 5.1.

Ya. My Retainer is full with SB trash fishies aswell. all saves from leves or from gathering for my CUL. I just need to hit somehow the nessary level to desynth a lv390 fishie and i have over9000 fishies in my pocket to go fast forward.

I go back to the octopuses till 345 now. lets hope i break the line to SB today <3

So. Got the the food and the medicin (both HQ)for boost me desynth-level.
With a Level opf 340 i can go now for the lv390 fishies with a chance of 21% :D

By the way. The medicin and the food are full witrh mats only from desynth and 1time/hour Notes. I thought like "ok. cool. lets make this real quick". Ya. Pustekuchen! Nothing with real quick :D

The live letter said they are changing how desynthesis works. Don't put time/money/effort into leveling it now.

Now i started it. Now i need to finish it ._.!

Not sure how I feel about them getting rid of desynthesis how it is. On one hand I'm super happy because I gave up on it long ago. I was just about to start it up again so i'm glad I found this first. On the other hand I sort of feel bad for all the people who put so much time and money into it. I think I got mine all up to around lv. 300 or so, maybe 280 IDK. Just got bored to tears doing it. Gonna hold off on it unti changes.

Main reason I started Desynthesis was for the Fieldcraft Demimateria III’s and the Mastercraft Demimateria. Generally speaking, I’ve not had any real use for it other than perhaps bypassing a time gate (HW Fibers, I’m looking at you) but I’m usually content at working within the time gate rather than trying to bypass it anyway.

I’ve not seen any real need to keep up with Desynthesis since HW.
