14 million gils....for a whm staff xD thank god the tome ones are better suited.
i strongly advise new players to NOT buy those and focus on getting tome ones instead
i used white mage as an example.

They're only 4-5 mil on average on my server. And the price will only go down over the next couple weeks.
Give it a few days, maybe a week or so, and try again. Prices will be inflated right now because they're shiny and new.
Don't feel bad. I'm apparently the only one on my server crafting the new HQ food. Sold a stack of 3 meals earlier for 300k. I felt bad for a moment. Then I realized I had zero competition for how and had to get the girls while I can. Lol.
They're only about 2mil on my server.
There's like no other use for gil anyway and people usually have a lot of it. Plus like others have stated, prices will drop in a few days.
"I advise people to not upgrade their weapons for 5 more weeks because people are making money off under-prepared day 1 raiders".
Solid advice. You should be a life coach somewhere far away.
If you cant/wont/arent doing Titania, its an upgrade to anything else you can have.Quote:
Why would you even want a SpellSpeed/Piety staff? I had a good chuckle when I saw someone actually craft it.
That said, anyone spending that much on it... its your money i guess, buuuut...
From a crafter perspective, the first book weapons of an expansion are almost never worth the investment from a profit standpoint.

It might not hurt for people to shop around either. Love it or hate it, the cross world feature does have its pros.
If you leveled your crafters it isn't very hard to make these weapons. The prices are going to go down fast when more people get on the game to make them.
Crafted gear is massively inflated the first two weeks after its released. It will settle down in price eventually, but probably still cost around like a million gil until more people level their crafters up.
It's expensive because the target buyers for those initial crafted gear are the hardcore savage raiders plus supply is low atm and demand is really high. I don't raid and i want a healing set lol.
Imagine spending gil on crafted weapons.
Make them yourself. :P
You'll be happy to hear that it all food persist through death and that you can get certain buffs (from your FC or from FC-manuals) that will add some duration to your food buff.
You should also note that for people who are into actual raiding - aka Savage - those foodbuffs are important. Gil is pretty worthless in the game to begin with - just hoarding it like a dragon isnt excatly adding to its worth. Being able to clear content you wann clear on the other hand and getting every help you can get... sometimes it pays of not to be cheap.
Yeah gotta save that gil up to buy uhhh... dancers.
The titania one is much better anyways and doesn't involve paying a lot of gil
Overmelds can make the crafted weapons more competitive with the Titania weapons then one might think much of the time. Only the ones with outstandingly bad stat spreads should be ignored.
I do agree the weapons are horribly overpriced right now, though.
Most of there stats are mediocre
But if you didn't care about getting a titania weapon asap and don't raid really nothing wrong with going from ronkan> deep shadow
The new rdm crafted rapier costs 10 mill on omega 0_0
Kinda shook when I saw the price, it was only one tho.
lol i was quoted 25 mil for half of an hq set for blm right after the patch
woke up later and got 4 of those pieces for only 700k a piece, HQ, right off the MB
So ya give it time, its dropping like a fly
Sub stat wise some of these are much better then the tome weapons however what is holding it back is the fact of ilv and weapon damage which the tome weapons will be higher
The items are far easier to craft than even the last SB battle set. It's quite likely we'll see sub 1-mil prices within a week, crashing to 200-500k apiece after that.
